use this heater for extra heat in a 20 X 70 ft Greenhouse. We were still getting cold damage close to the floor when the temps dropped below 20 at night. This heater does what it needs and also saves on the gas bill. I am thinking about ordering another one.
WE are building a 26 x 26 addition. It is well insulated, but has a lot of glass area. I needed something to dry drywall mud and give us a warn area to work. It's been in the teens and 20s, and at a setting #2 or #3 it keeps it very warm!

I use this in my basement laundry room.with some rooms in the house closed off the rising heat heats 3 floors. I use a personal 120 volt heater next to me in some rooms when needed. It is for now the primary means of heating my house. because it is in basement the fan noise doesn't bother me. it is quieter than a banging hissing steam radiator and an oil burner.
I use this to heat my basement. the heat rises through the first floor to the bedroom upstairs. I use common 1500 watt heaters for cold spots in the house when necessary.
It allows me to work in the garage when outside temps temps are well below freezing.
Fan should continue when thermostat is satisfied to cool element.
I needed a heater for my 380 sq. ft. workshop. I didn't know anything about ElectricHeatSource.com but I took a chance. I'm glad I did! The service was great! Shipping was fast and the heater arrived on time and without damage. The heater was a pleasant suprise too! I had bought other heaters and was disappointed in them so I was skeptical but this turned out to be a good buy. It warms up quickly and is not very noisy, I can easily hear my radio over it. The cord is long enough to bring the heater well away from the wall and I like the tilt feature on it as well. I do wish that the control switch was in the front or on top but it isn't difficult to use where its at. The unit does get very hot so make sure nothing can touch it. I am using mine in Texas where our winters aren't as brutal as they are up north but, we do have days where the temps drop into the low 20's and upper teens (just not many of them) but still, a good shop heater is nice to have, and this is a good one! It should make any cold space more bearable. Would give it five stars if the switch were in a better location. I'm really glad I bought it!
It works great in a small area, but it doesn't give off as much heat as I hoped.
