Blower and vacuum surprisingly strong for a lightweight product. Worked well on dry and damp leaves and twigs, plus mulcher turned all plant debris into confetti that is perfect for my composter. Would love to see a rechargeable battery version in the future.
This thing is great! I had a gas blower that lasted many years but I was constantly tuning it and changing spark plugs etc. and got tired of the maintenance. When it finally died I thought about a rechargeable battery type blower but my previous experience with them tells me the battery will die after 5-10 minutes so I opted for this corded Greenworks blower. It is powerful and does exactly what I need it to do which is to clear driveways and sidewalks of grass clippings and leaves. I especially like not having to put gas in it or charge it's battery before I'm done using it.
Got it with fast shipping, unpacked it, assembled it for vac purpose and connnected the electric extension cord and wow ! started sucking up leaves from the patio with no problem, it does the job. I recommend this Blower /Vac for ease and simplicity where needed.
Works good on regular size leafs, it is hard to vacuum large size leafs, but does the work. I'll not complain.
Love GreenWorks products. This GreenWorks blower/vac is Excellent. Only problem is the Bag is weak and opens at the seams
Bought this to help make yard cleanup quicker than raking and easier on my glutes and back from constantly bending over to pick up piles. I'm not sure if this is faster, you have to be careful and not suck up too many leaves at once otherwise you clog the machine. And the thing is quite big and heavy so you end up working your forearms instead. And you need to get an appropriate extension cord on top of the price of the leaf blower that won't damage the blower and over heat. I do like the mulching feature though, means I can fit more leaves into the bags.
The lead blower has good power and does a good job of what it is expected to do. The product is robust and is good for regular or rough use. It is a little heavy for my liking. It comes with attachements. The leaf collector attachment has not proved to be very useful for me. For the price I paid this is a good buy
Doesn't mulch them on a 14:1 ratio, more like 2:1.
It was of course quite noisy but it didn't pick up leaves the way I hoped
I bought this for the vacuum function as I already have a gas blower. It does vacuum ok but does not mulch very well. "Turns 16 bushels of leaves into 1 bushel" is a stretch because a lot of the leaves are whole in the bag after vacuuming. As a vacuum it is very clumsy to operate. Trying to point the vac nozzle, manage the control buttons and hold the bag in a slight downward position or it clogs is awkward at best. I was also covered in leaf dust after operation and I would recommend a good dust mask. As a blower, my gas blower is way better and it is an older model.
