My doc told me there are two kinds of people in their 60's: those with bad knees who are having trouble with them, and those with bad knees who aren't. He told me to get these inserts in all of my shoes (take out the insoles). I quit going barefoot on hardwoods, but now wear very cushioned Adadias sandals. It's made a TREMENDOUS difference!
My son uses these and loves them since he stands on his feet for 12 hours a day!
I'm 5'9" and 280lbs. I immediately noticed a relief (cushioning affect) in my calfs, thighs, and lower back as I walked with the insoles inserted in my SAS shoes. I still have the lumbar pain but not as intense when walking. Very comfortable insoles and well worth the price!
After 5 years of not working, I got a new job. The first couple of nights I though I was going to die, my feet hurt so bad. I saw an add in the news paper about these and thought I'd give them a try. THEY ARE MAGICAL!!! ONE NIGHT of wearing them to work, I got home and my feet barely hurt at all!!!!!!! (I'm 240 lbs) LOVE THEM!!! Going to get a few more pair for when (if) I wear these out! I will never wear my shoes without these again!

good but a little thin at the ball of the foot
After putting these in my shoes I noticed something right away. My feet still ached but my legs and back did not. I had zero back and leg pain after using these vs before using them and walking around. I weigh 330lbs and let me tell you these make a huge difference. So much, in fact, one of my parents bought a set after hearing how I felt and they loved them as well. I don't know what's wrong with the other reviewer's pair but my work perfectly. They do exactly what I want they stop the shockwaves when I step down which stops the leg and back pain. My dad is on his feet for over 8 hours a day and these work great for him as well ! I highly recommend these for those of you who are overweight and have sore legs and backs from walking around or standing on your feet for long periods of time. Keep in mind though depending on your shoe you may have some trouble installing these. I know I've had some issues but once you get them in right they're perfect.
Lasted good for about two days - and I did ensure they were in the shoe properly
