I ordered this for my 2 year old sons birthday. When I got it I didn't think to check the package to make sure everything was there and I just wrapped it up. After he unwrapped it we opened it up to put it on his bed and realized that the pillowcase was missing. I e-mailed Walmart.com about it and the very next day I received an e-mail back. They sent me a return label and shipped me out a new set before I could even put the old one in the mail. The new set came in yesterday and we opened it up and everything was there! The pillowcase is so cute! One side has what the picture on here shows and the other side has each character side by side. So adorable! The sheets and pillowcase were very stiff when we opened it up but after washing it just once with some fabric softener they are perfect. The underside of the comforter is kind of like the sleeping bag material but my son uses the flat sheet so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. Plus you can always just put a blanket over them instead of the comforter. Over all we are very happy with the product and the help we received from Walmart.com!
I LOVE THIS SET!! i had read the reviews and wasn't sure how it would be when i got it........turns out, IT'S PERFECT! my 21 month old son saw it and said "WOW, thank you mamma" ...that makes it even more worth it. i had no problems with color fading. and really, for the price i wouldn't expect a "real" comforter. besides, they sell a different one that says soft and comfy.....i guess they want us to buy both if we want it soft. my son hates to be covered, so he won't be useing it for a while. it's huge too......so when he does use it, it'll be for a LONG time. it IS the nylon/sleeping bag material on the inside. but it's warm........we will be taking it camping with us. i would totally recommend. my sons points at the characters and names them, plus it was a BIG HELP in getting him to sleep in his bed and no longer ours.........another "WORTH IT" reason.
I purchased this bed set for my little one and was very pleased at how brightly colored and just down right adorable it was. At first I was concerned with the somewhat rough feeling sheets and sleeping bag type material comforter and how my son would react to it (he is picky about blankies). After washing (still vibrantly colored) the set and putting it on his bed my concerns were put to rest. He loves it! He wraps up in it every night. I figure that maybe I'm the picky one and that if he loves it then so do I.
before purchasing this set i read almost all the reviews. i read a lot of negative reviews. people said the quality was poor for the price. some said the colors faded after the first wash. others said the comforter was too thin etc. i have to say i was very pleased with the set when i bought it. first the comforter is thin, but i think for little kids this is fine. i wouldn't want to put a thick heavy comforter on my little guy since he still gets tangled up in his blankets throughout the night. the pillow case & comforter are both super soft. the flat sheet & fitted sheet were very rough (like most kid's character sheets are). i washed everything before the first use & used liquid fabric softner as well as softner sheets in the dryer. the flat & fitted sheet came out of the dryer soft & comfy. i did not use a color guard detergent & none of the sheets nor the blanket faded. but the best part of all is how happy this set has made my son. he is a huge YGG fan & he was honestly ecstatic when i put him in his crib with this set. every night before bed he names all the characters on his blanket & wakes up talking to them. i highly suggest this set to anyone who has a child with a love for YGG.
My husband and I got him the Yo Gabba Gabba sheets to make the transition to toddler bed easier on all of us and it so far it has worked... He loves them! The sheets are a little rough but it's to be expected its for a child's bed. Other than that I have no complaints. I will purchase other character sheets as well.
I was so excited to find this for my 1.5 year old, since he loves the "Gabba" and I was expecting the kind of quality in a toddler bed set that I had purchased in recent years for my two older children when they moved to a toddler bed. Their comforters were nice and thick and that is what I was expecting...but it was NOT what I received. The blanket is nice and bright as is the pillowcase, but it is super thin, more like a light bedspread and the underside is a silky poly material that slips right off the bed and makes a lot of noise when my son is trying to fall asleep..he just kicks at it until it is off! (and it is a cold Winter) I must say for the price, I was disappointed..It should have been priced half as much for what I was expecting. But, if it merely for the theme, then it is cute. What does a one year old really care anyway?!
My two year old is obessed with Yo Gabba Gabba. If it ins't on TV he hands us the remote and asks "Gabba?" Needless to say he loves this item and it makes bed time less stressful. The only reason I gave this a four star (I'd have gone 4.5 if they let me) is that the comforter was a lot thinner than I expected, but for around $30 I guess I shouldn't have expected too much more.
My toddler loves this bed set and it is super cute. The comforter portion faded quite a bit after the first wash. I hope it holds up to frequent washing. I also wasn't a fan of the under material of the comforter. It kinda reminds me of a sleeping bag. Otherwise, it is very cute
I bought this product about a month ago for my 2 year old neice who is living with me. She loves yo gabba gabba and is so excited to go to sleep in it every night, but some negatives are it is made of a very cheap fabric its rough and not of a good quality, also the first time i washed it ( i washed it in cold water with color care detergent) IT FADED ALOT now it looks worn out after only one washing, over all i think it could be better made but as long as my neice is happy im happy
I bought this set for my granddaughter for her new toddler bed. Got the bed put together..open the plastic zippered bag..and guess what? No pillowcase! Since I ordered it online and my daughter lives in Baltimore and I don't, we just kept it and will get a plain pillow case to go with it.
