Great product
As a 79 yr old I bought the prism in science museum, London, uk after seeing tv pgm about Newton's famous experiment. At time of writing I've yet to succeed in covering window with blackout plus vital slit/hole though early experiments suggest midday sunlight is best focussing spectrum onto black paper and identifying the 7 colours of the spectrum, not easy since I'm colour-blind. A good buy!
My daughter was fascinated about the light and always looking for "rainbow" on the ground like around a glass window or things like it. So I got it for her as a Xmas present. Too my disappointment, it didn't work well at all....
It's ok
The prism is NOT a "high quality optical glass prism" as the description states but "shatterproof plastic" as the package says. The book that comes with it is a very thin 4 x 2 1/2" booklet. It's not worth $14.39. I'm returning it immediately.
Product was listed as a "High quality optical glass prism". In fact it was made from low quality plastic. Returned to nearest store.
