We put this in our sons room and we love it! I'm not sure what the other reveiwers are talking about it not sticking, because you have sumerge the wall paper in to water, and make sure that its good and wet (i recomend that you leave it in the water longer then what the directions say) and it will stick just fine. Using a wet sponge to smooth it out also works very well! Has been up almost six months and has no signs of falling off. We also have textured walls!
It's a very good product my son enjoyed it. The only thing is I wish I would of bought 2 packs because it didnt cover his whole top part of the wall. So I would recommend 2 packs if it's a big room
I love this wall border for my son's "Cars" themed room. I thought I was actually going to have to buy about two more to cover his whole room, but I only need to purchase 1 more and I will still have extra left over. A friend told me she bought the same border and had to purchase 3 packs at Home Depot at the same price as what Wal-mart sales them for.
AS A GRANDMA I HAVE MY GRANDSON'S BEDROOM ALL DECORATED IN ''CARS'' WHEN HE VISITS US! THIS CARS BORDER IS EASY TO PUT UP I DID IT ALONE HAS BEEN UP ON THE WALL FOR OVER A MONTH,HAS NOT FEEL OFF YET. TO ALL WHOM READS THIS HAVE PATIENCE WHEN APPLYING THIS BORDER AND PRESS FIRM, IT WILL HOLD I HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH IT YET!! JUST WISH WALMART WOULD CARRY THEM IN THE STORE'S , THEN HAVE TO ORDER ONLINE
We bought it for our son's room which has theme "cars" and when the room was painted and almost done, we really wanted to show it to our son, we came in the morning and that wall border was on the floor!!!! So we stick it again and it fell off in 10 min! I was really angry ! Went to walmart and got wallpaper glue which was specially for wall borders too, tried to glue it and it looks ok, still some parts stick out of wall, so if you want lots of troubles buy it. Its really colorful, that's why i purchased and it would bring me more pleasure if it would stay on the wall as its suppose to be.
we bought our son the cars bed, table/chairs and storage chest so we thought the border would be perfect. it fits on half of his room with one package and after it started coming off the wall we decided not to get a package for the other wall. luckily we bought the wall sticker set too and now the stickers hold up the border.
I purchased 3 packs of this border for about 10.00 a pack. I put it on my sons walls on thursday and now sunday it is peeling off, it is not sticky enough and this wallpaper does not require to be wet prior to application, it is self sticking. Waste of money and time, and now I am out 30.00 in wallpaper. Buy one that you have to apply water too.
bought this thinking it would finish off the "Cars" theme of my sons room and an VERY dissapointed at the quality. Would not stick at all. Our walls are very lightly textured like most nothing extreme and this woud not stick at all. Ended up buying walpaper glue to keep it up and it worked but i dont see it lasing to long. I dont think i will ever do borders again just paint. too much frustration.
I put this Cars Wall border up in my son's room last night. We do not have textured walls so I thought we wouldn't have any issues with this sticking to our walls. Boy was I wrong! I made sure I pressed down on this wallpaper multiple times when applying yet when I went into my son's room this morning, 1/2 of the wallpaper had fallen down. NOT worth it!!! Do not recommend this to anyone. I am taking this down now & am out my money. I do know that I could get the wallpaper paste, but that defeats the purpose, I didn't purchase this wallpaper to have to paste it on!!
This is the worst purchase I have ever made. What a letdown. My husband followed the instructions and within 15 minutes all the border was falling down. My 2 year old son was crying "my room" it was a nightmare. We tried to smooth the border back on numerous times. I can see why its says removable because it never even stays on. Needless to say I took the packages some of the worthless pieces and my receipt back to Walmart and got a full refund. I would strongly advise anyone NOT to buy this border and to shop around for a different one.
