I think this is a great prouduct and its was so easy to install. my only problem is they never had enough products in stores. I went to 3 other walmarts looking to buy more wall paper and they were all sold out I had to order the rest online so I have a half finished room. :(
You have to staple the border about every two or three feet to keep it up because it doesn't stick very well. Other than that, it's really cute and goes perfectly in the nursery. It was very difficult to get this item because WalMart was always out of stock. If WalMart would carry more in stock, it would be better.
Great Wall boarder.. Only problem was that I was sent the wrong item and had to take it to the store to return it. other than that it is grea and sticks well on the wall. Even applied to freshly painted walls (3 hours after painting)
I got this border to replace the border I had previously baught and it looks great. My only problem was that it wouldn't stay up on one side of the room and i kept having to put it back up. Its really strong material that won't tear easily so putting it back up was a synch even if it gets balled up. I'd suggest that if you aren't applying it to a smooth wall that you use some wallpaper paste.
The product was very easy to use, we didn't have any problems with it sticking to our freshly painted wall. Although on the product description it states that the length is 21 feet. The package says 20 and I actually only got a little under 18. We wouldn't have known we were shorted except we measured the room at 19 feet. I called the company and they sent an addn'l roll. So it all worked out.
This boarder is beautiful and matches the bedding set perfectly, however it doesn't stick to the walls. After you open the package there is an insert that says it is best on unpainted, smooth walls. So, you can imagine it didn't stick to our textured, painted walls at all. The boarder is much like contact paper and was peeling off before we even finished half the room. We did end up gluing it to the walls because I love the boarder design and colors so much - but I dont recommend this product if you aren't willing to glue it on.
I purchased this item for my new babies nursery. I was thrilled with the pattern, but when my husband and I went to peel the adhesive backing off from the border the sticky part came off the border. We didn't even try to stick it on the wall, because only part of it would have sticked. BIG DISAPPOPINTMENT!!! You get what you pay for I guess!!
I bought this product in the store because it matched the crib set we bought. I was very excited to put the border up because it was so cute and brightly colored. We put up the border and within 30 minutes we heard it coming down. We walked into the room and the entire thing fell down. I was so disappointed because it looked so nice in the room. We attempted to put it back up but it just kept falling down. I ended up returning it the next day and getting my money back.
I am very disappointed in this product. It is not easy to install and any (small) flaws in the wall causes the product to come loose and fall to the floor. I would not recommend this kind of border to anyone and will never buy this kind again. I feel that I should be reimbursed for the product.
My daughter and son-in-law put this border in the nursery and it fell down the next day. Then after applying a wallpaper glue and putting it up again, the same thing happened. It ended up in the trash. The nursery was painted over a year ago--so it wasn't fresh paint. It's too bad because it looked adorable when it was up there on the walls.
