I had my doubts about ordering this but I'm really glad I did, my 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it! it's a really cute and good item for Christmas or any other gift. but I would suggest caution if you have cats lol because it looks and sounds like a bird flying in the house
My granddaughters just love this toy. Tinker Bell flies all over the house including the basement. All the girls just love making her fly. She flies and then they recharge her and she's flying again. It is a great product and keeps the children entertained for hours. The cost is reasonable for the time and enjoyment that is had from this product. I would recommend it to all. Thank you.
Very cool - flys like a bug or a bird, the way it bumps into walls and moves around make it look like a live bug. this thing was the hit of Christmas - my kids loved it. However, it's probably best for kids older than 8 or so, my kids broke it after a few days (they are 5 and 4) - the wing "driveshaft" broke so the motor spins and the wings don't flap.
I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my 4 year old niece and it really is a cute present for a little girl. My niece was definitely intrigued by Tinkerbell, but a little scared once the fairy took flight. She watched from a distance as Tinkerbell flapped around the room, and ultimately I think the adults had more fun with this toy. This toy may have been more appropriate for a slightly older child. Other potential criticisms of Tinkerbell are the inability to control her direction in flight and the delicate construction which resulted in a torn wing after 2 hrs of flight time.
This works really well if you take the time to figure out how to control it. It's not for little tiny kids though. My daughter is 9 and I don't think I would buy it for anyone younger. Make sure to turn off the ceiling fan, and don't expect to fly it into curtains. It does seem to turn around on it's on when it gets close to a wall though.
TinkerBell Indoor Flyer was a big Christmas Hit. My 9 year old granddaughter loves her. She is fragile, tho, and we had to readjust her wings when she crash landed. She was recommended as one of the "Recommended Toys" by USA Today and it is amazing how the technology lets her soar. She is definitely a "grandma" gift and I doubt that she will endure too long due to her fragile wings.
This would be a Great toy if it could be used outdoors! You need a really large indoor space to fly tinkerbell, unless you like watching it fly into walls, and the ceiling! Also there is no way to control the direction of flight. There is one control for the speed of the wings! It's hard for an adult to control much less a child. The Tv commercial and the packaging gives the impression that this toy Hovers, but this one doesn't. A big let down! My daughter loves the toy but it's not any fun when it's sitting on the shelf!
The fun lasted for 60 seconds. The cat loved to watch Tinkerbell crash and burn. Followed all directions but the charge only last a couple of minutes, if that long. Parts too small for a child to use(ie the charger). Tinkerbell only crashed, would not stay in flight. We followed all directions. It was a birthday present from family. It will go back on Monday.
Tinkerbell was a wonder to watch as she flew down the hall and curved into another room. The box stated that this product was durable. This proved to be wrong. The receptacle was too small where you plug in to Tinkerbell to recharge. The two prongs were so thin-they broke after only recharging Tinkerbell twice. Making the receptacle a little larger and the prongs stronger would make this a better product.
I would never reccomend this product to anyone! It was purchased for my daugthers 4 yr old birthday party! Tinkerbell was suposed to fly in! Needless to say she was made of very poor quality and she wouldn't fly more than a few inches and fall! Needless to say she was returned the next day and she sent her "Pixie Dust" for good measure w/ a happy birthday card! The birthday was fine but my daughter of course was disapointed! This product is a total joke for the amount of money and for the quality!
