Overall, I am delighted w/ this TV. As other reviewers had complained about it being cracked when they received it, that was the first thing I looked for. It comes securely packed & was in perfect condition! The crown & legs were very easy attach. The color is a bright pink & is Oh so girlie!! So far, so good, but I bought the extended warranty, just in case.
Bought this Princess t.v. and dvd player for my 4 year old. It is very cute and matches her Princess room. I bought it just for watching dvds - no cable or satelitte hookups in her room. Connected the wires from the t.v to the dvd player and then it took a while to automatically set the channels (which I really don't need) and then I could not figure out how to set the t.v. tuner to just watch the dvd!!!! After about an hour I figured out that on the t.v. remote there is an "input" button to push and switch the mode to "a.v.". This "a.v." mode is what it needs to be in to just watch a dvd. My daughter loves it and it looks really cute in her room. I think it was a great deal. I bought the t.v. for $119.00 compared to a flat-screen model that was selling for almost $300.00. I figured she wouldn't be into Disney Princesses forever and didn't want to spend $300.00 on a flat-screened Princess t.v. that she would out grow in a few years. I think its a great deal and we LOVE both the t.v. and dvd player!!!
I purchased this TV for my 6 year old goddaughter. She is thrilled with it and so am I. The online picture accurately portrays the color, size and overall quality of the product. The TV arrived at my Walmart destination within 5 days of ordering it. I had mixed feelings about purchasing it after reading some of the reviews, but I am very pleased with this purchase so far. We have only had it since Christmas at the time of this review, so that has been about one week, but I expect we will continue to love this little television.
This was the second of the Disney Princess TVs that I purchased. The first one was the TV/DVD combo in which the DVD player sounded like squirrels were operating it inside (very loud). After reading other comments on the DVD (loud, breaking after 3/4 months), I opted to get just the TV. Great picture. Wish it came with "magic wand" remote, too (like TV/DVD combo). When inspecting the TV, found a good size crack in the hard plastic on top (possibly from shipping, could have been in manufacturing). Too much of hassel to take back and get another one. Just kept it.
Okay, this is a super cute t.v. My daughter, who plays dress up everyday, fell in love with it. Unfortunately I found a small crack on the top right corner of the frame. I don't think that it was packaged very well. Not Walmarts fault but the manufaturer. Still, I kept it seeing as it isn't that visible.
My daughter received this t.v. as a gift from her grandmother. I only give it 4 stars because we had one issue with it. We bought a DVD player to attach to this t.v. We had to turn the volume up ALL THE WAY on the tv and you could barely hear the movie. We bought a more expensive DVD player and that seemed to fix the problem. My daughter can hear fine now when we play her DVD's. Read the other reviews!! We are like someone else that left previous feedback. My daughter doesn't watch t.v. or use cable or dish, etc. She only watches DVD's on this t.v. and you have to push the input button on the remote to toggle between using the t.v. and DVD player that we attached. We haven't had any other issues. My daughter loves the t.v. and uses it everyday.
Bought this tv for my daughter's 3rd birthday at the end of August 4 months later the tv has no picture but sound if it come on at all....
My daughter loved her princess television. but after 9 months, it stopped working. the warranty is only 90 days. took to tv repair and they said it would be cheaper to buy a new one that they are just not made to last. now my daughter is heartbroken to have a plain black tv in her room.
My daughter received this as a birthday present. Although it is too cute and the remote is adorable, it is not made user friendly at all. It took two days and four adults to finally get it working with the disney dvd player. We still haven't been able to figure out the cable. After playing one dvd we got a message that it was not programmed to play the dvd's. I called the help line and had to leave my name and number. They are suppose to call within 48 hours, but we haven't heard back from them. My daughter loves it, but we are terribly dissapointed. I would not recommend spending the money on it. Cute is one thing, but if the kids and adults for that matter can't use it, what good is it.
I purchased this TV for my 3 year old in late summer. At the same time, I purchased the separate DVD player. The TV nor the DVD worked when I brought them home. I exchanged them both(I had to drive to another Walmart 40 min away), and the DVD STILL did not work. I returned the 2nd DVD, and got her a regular one(had to do lots of explaining why it wasn't pink like the other one). Now, 4 months later the TV does not work. We cannot switch to DVD mode which can only be done from the remote. Also, the volume and channel buttons, both on the remote and TV itself, do not work. I havent seen the DVD player anymore on shelves. My daughter has everything princess in her room, she loves the TV, but it seems to be cheaply made.
