Parents both work from home, 2 teenagers and 2 mothers in law in our household, along with 4 dogs, so ease in mealtimes are a must. We've been using these Dixie plates (8 1/2 and 10 inch) for years. We find they work very well for us-and teenagers are happy because “less dishes to wash and put away.”

I've bought other brands and store brands and they don't even come close to these! And if you want a plates that can without the most moist foods, try ultra! They can hold soups, stews and lots of steam. And I love the bowls for chili and spaghetti! I love Dixie plates!
these plates are the best they stay nice and sturdy and you don't loose any of your food to the floor they don't leak either

It was on our first dinner date, when he served our first meal on a Dixie Everyday plate. Six years later and now happily married, we continue to use Dixie plates. We use Dixie plates everyday, very week, every month, and year after year. We love the plates, they are sturdy, and the food taste good, hot or cold. I am a busy mom with busy kids and we need Dixie for our breakfast, lunch and dinners. With work and sports we don't have time to do dishes. Our time is valuable and Dixie helps us spend our time with the family rather then doing dishes. I only buy Dixie because it always holds all of our food and never seeps through and makes the plates soggy. I usually buy the Dixie Everyday plates and find the 8.5 inch are a perfect size for all of our meals. We love Dixie paper plates!

I have purchased this product for years and been very pleased with the quality. I wish the price was a little lower but I wish that with all products due to inflation.
These used to be the best on the market for preventing spills, leaking through, and carrying heavy food. Now you can really feel the flimsy, cheapness of the material, they don't stand up to hot foods--leaks through more easily. Wish they put quality first because the price was equal to quality.

Bought a new set to try and same thing, they are garbage if you have any juice at all on your plate, you end up with a lap full of juice and ruined clothes.
