[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Ticonderoga red pencils are sturdy and helpful for editing papers, and rough drafts. As a student using these pencils, the pencils are easy to use right out of the box, as they come already sharpened in the package. A unique feature over using a pen, is that these red pencils are erasable, so when opting to not make the revision, it is erased and forgotten.

They are made of premium wood and are so much easier when you need to sharpen. The lead doesn't seem to break easily like some others. I really like them a lot and this will be the only brand I buy from now on.

The red of the pencils shows up great. The only downfall is that if you need to erase the red, the eraser on the pencil does not totally erase the red mark. The pencil will work great for some things, but if you are marking an item that will need to be erased for future use it doesn't work as good as it should.
