Easy to put together. Works great in the shower for my husband.
I ordered this for a client who was beginning to have difficulty getting in and out of her walk-in shower. It was easy to put together, the wheels are wide and stable and the chair is very comfortable. She is very happy that she can have a real shower every week without feeling stressed about getting in and out of her shower. We are both very pleased with this chair.
Very pleased with this transport chair which was purchased for my 93 year old mother who resides in an assisted living facility. Has made shower nights much easier for her and the staff. Very sturdy with easy rolling wheels. Easy to assembly.
Works for me. Arrived on time, was kinda surprised that had to put it all together. Took 2 persons to put together but was easy to put together with screwdriver.
This chair was exactly what we needed as a shower chair. It rolls smoothly and easily and gets over the ridge into the handicap shower. It has a comfortable donut-hole padded seat. It is at a perfect height. If we would need it, it also has easy lock and unlock access on the rear wheels, but so far we haven't had need to use this yet. We regard this as a nice luxury to have in case we ever need it. The hole in the shower seat also provides wonderful access for me to have my underside cleaned while sitting in the chair. I have advanced Progressive MS and this chair is perfect for me, just as needed! :)
I purchased this for my elderly father (5'9", 200#) with VERY limited ambulatory mobility. He states that it is comfortable and it is easily maneuverable. On hard surfaces, it has rolled easily and worked well as a shower chair and an over the commode chair. So far, (one month) the chair seems to perform very well and is quite reasonable priced.
Much nicer than the usual pvc chairs. Good quality, easy to assemble and very sturdy. Very pleased with the chair, great price and fast delivery. Made dad's showering relaxing no longer challenging.
There is only one problem with the transport chair is that when the wheels in the back are lock it still moves. That becomes a problem when getting in and out of it. And there is no locking wheels in the front. Other than that it is great moving the patient to the bathroom. Rolls great
I bought two of these chairs, one for each of my clients at group homes. The seat comes off. Both seat chairs came off causing a huge scratch on one client, and the other chair causing the other client to fall. Do not recommend people buy these chairs as they're not safe.
ERROR! This is a fine chair but the website has a serious error. The chair is not 6.4 inches wide. It is 21-22 inches. I just ignored this error but some people would realize it is wrong and simply go to another site.
