Does the job well!
Great for over a leg cast, but my cast was below the knee. This was just tooooo long for me as it went about to the top of my thigh. I was afraid to purchase one that was too short, but like I said this was way too long for me. Very good quality material, and would recommend, just wish it was shorter.
This came Fast! I would have given it a 5 star if driver would of dropped it at the right door! Sounds like a no biggie! But itis I have a broken foot a can't Walk!
Nice product, works very well. Recently had toe surgery. The doctor was emphatic about keeping my foot dry. The reason I gave it four and not five stars is you still need to wrap in a garbage bag to keep completely dry during a shower. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.
There's a rubber membrane with a small hole in it, stretched across the blue circular frame. Once you get the rubber membrane around your cast at the toes, it's tempting to simply pull it the rest of the way on by pulling the blue frame. This is fine once you are past the heel and you are pulling along the length of your leg. But it is not okay while you are pulling around the corner of your heel. By pulling on the frame alone, you risk pulling the rubber membrane out of the blue frame. (If you pull hard enough, it *will* come out.) The correct way to put it on is to use your fingers to hold open the rubber membrane hole as you navigate around the heel. (A third hand really helps.) If you do it this way, you will never pull the membrane out of the blue frame, and it will outlast your cast.
If you choose to buy this, put something around the opening to block the water. My first use ended with a bag of water around my foot. There's a gap around my ankle created by a tendon. It lets the water in. Prepare for that! Otherwise, good quality!
Ordered this ahead of my surgery to be ready. My husband helped me put it on this morning and the rubber ripped immediately! We were not rough with it at all. Just stretched it out as instructed and slid it onto my leg. Not acceptable. Now I'll have to wait to get something else so I can keep my surgical dressing dry. So much for planning ahead. Do not recommend.
I was really looking forward to a shower but these things will not work for me. The opening is much too small and I would need help getting them on and off. Unfortunately I missed the part that says they're non-returnable. Looks like I'm stuck with them.
I wish I could make a better review, but since they never got delivered, I can't! And since Walmart wont refund the money for them, I can't afford to get another pair!
the second time I used it the top gasket pull loose when trying gently putting it on over the heel of the cast. The hard plastic ring needs to be more flexible. 1st picture top ring too hard to work over cast; 2nd picture (another brand) very easy and flexible.
