In this delightful fish-out-of-water series, BAFTA-winner Martin Clunes (Shakespeare in Love) plays Martin Ellingham, a rude, self-centered doctor with a crippling phobia of blood. Formerly a hotshot London surgeon, he relocates to the idyllic seaside village of his youth and immediately offends everyone in town. He eventually earns the grudging respect of the local citizens, but what he really wants are the affections of Louisa Glasson (Caroline Catz, Murder in Suburbia), a beautiful schoolteacher. After watching them on Acorn TV, I had to purchase more of the series. What a great way to end the day with a smile and a laugh.
All OK. Only comment is that shipping is slow. I received items from other sources in half the time.

We love Doc Martin. My husband and I are both medical people - he's an orthopedic surgeon and I am a nurse. The medical facts are pretty accurate and the cast is wonderful.
I duplicated my order for series 2. Then I called to find out how to switch to series 3. They were courteous to speak with. I returned duplication and received credit on price difference promptly and received series 3 soon after.With my forgetfulness, it is nice to know that I can expect such great service.
I still haven't received my order, so it's a little hard to review
manyepisodes we could not watch as the DVD's were very poor graphics, dark, no signal, repeats, will call you later to talk about what to do
Very disappointed! The DVD s are appearing to be damaged. The last two episodes we watched were not viewable until half way through each episode. Wasn't sure whether to see how damaged the others are or ask for a replacement for entire order. Please advise.
