Awesome finally a really supportive shoe. They are firmer than most shoes made today and provide awesome support for my probation. Really made me feel so much better.
Very comfortable. Initially didnt like the colour but i have not minded it at all seeing as how comfortable it is to wear
I'm 74 years old and New Balance has always been my favorite shoe, for at least the past 30 years. In addition, New Balance is the only athletic shoe company still making shoes in the United States. USA USA USA
Great long lasting and sturdy shoes. Recommended by my podiatrist-I've worn them for about 20 years. Made in USA is a plus.
This is a 2nd pair of these same shoes I bought pair for my son who was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. His foot doctor recommended them. Sadly his first pair got stolen from his locker hence the 2nd purchase. We absolutely love these shoes. They are stylish, light, and if a 16 year old wears them versus crocs that's a huge plus in my book!
Everything I want from a New Balance 900 series shoe. Stability, cushioning, durability without the gimmicks. I've been wearing them for decades and nothing else keeps me injury free like these do. They've always been relatively expensive when compared to other running shoes but....darn...you just about need a loan to buy them.

Great quality. I wore these daily for over a year and they held up well. The soles and insides were pretty worn, so I ordered the v6. They wouldn't fit my orthotics well, so I went back to the v5. It's too bad they are discontinuing this model. I am stocking up and buying 2 pairs to keep on hand. Also love that they are made in USA.
The shoes were purchased for my husband. He only wears New Balance shoes that are made in the USA. Very proud of this. Loves the shoes. Fit great. Loves that they are still made in America.
990's are the best. The fifth generation is good but I know there will be improvements in the upcoming revisions. It's still a great shoe at a much reduced price.
