True to size. Took a little getting used to (the hardness of the toe boat felt like it rubbed a bit on initial try on, but just needed to get used to the shoe). Feels amazing when working out, lots more control, love the grippy vibram sole. First time I haven't had foot pain from shoes in months. Great for indoor use -- will be getting the trail gloves for outdoor use.
After going to a running store with a professional fitter and finding nothing that fit properly, I bought these online and they fit like a glove - no pun intended. I got them for running but I really don't want to wear any of my other shoes because these are so comfortable. I am very hard to fit and these are just right.
These are my 3rd pair of these shoes. The mesh by the little toe and by the ball of the foot on the last 2 wore out really quickly. They seem to have identified that issue and added reinforcement to that area. Great for forefoot runners.
This is my third pair so, yeah i like them. I feel like i am walking in my barefoot and its soooo comfortable. I would run a marathon in them but i can where them for just about everything else.
Love these shoes, very, very comfortable for someone who doesn't like a lot of padding between their feet and the ground. Enough sole to be comfortable, but not so much that you can't feel the ground. Wish there were more color choices.
Great quality, comfort, and design. Most comfortable boot ever!!!
I was able to wear these all day the first day. True to size. Great print that goes with any shade of burgundy. Fun to wear combat-style boots to work and remain classy.
I have a pair of vapor gloves that were probably the first or second version and they lasted me about five or six years wearing them at least a couple times a week. They were so extremely comfortable that I decided to get a new pair of vapor gloves version 4. The vapor glove for that I bought are extremely comfortable and feel like slippers but the only problem is the vibram sole is wearing out so fast. After 6 mos of wearing once or twice a week for a mile or two walk and the ball of the foot on the sole is nearly bald. I love the grippy rubber sole and I'd like it better than the original version which is very disappointed how fast they're wearing out.
There seems to be a subtle change in the size and shape of the toe box that makes my usual size fit a bit big and my foot slides while wearing this shoe. I've been wearing the vapor gloves or pace gloves for about 10 years. The vapor glove 4 is the only shoe I've run in from Merrell that I had issues with. I've only worn them a handful of times trying to break them in, both running and walking, but I get pain in the arches of my feet after wearing them for any length of time. I would recommend the brand to anyone interested in Merrell products because my experience is probably not what others have/will experience.
I purchased a pair of these a few years ago, LOVED the feel and the fit. One shoe wore out just above the rubber sole on the side of the big toe knuckle. I continued to wear them as they were expensive and they were the only runners I had. After the tread wore out, thinking that the hole was perhaps just a glitch in the fabric, I bought another pair. After wearing them twice, the fabric is beginning to wear at the same spot as the other one. I've purchase a LOT of runners in my 60 years, and have never experienced this problem. (No I do not have a bunion or something similar to wear out that particular spot.)
