Great set! I wish the high hat pedal could be used as a second base drum pedal so you can play double bass drums. The set was difficult to put together until I realized that a screw driver to open up the brackets helped. The pieces would not go together on their own and that is a problem. It's a fun set though, I am short and it feels a bit short to me.
Quality ok for the price. The only complaints I have deal with the snare head missing when hit rapidly. Company sent me a new set of wiring but didn't help. Overall good set
The kick pedals did not work
Packaged well and was pretty easy to put together. Drums sound good for the most part. The cymbals though are a different matter. The ride cymbal sounds absolutely horrible. Like they modeled the sounds off the cheapest cymbal you could buy. This is a major detraction as using the ride in a song is a major function and without that all you can really play is the hi-hat. Another epic fail is the sound module. The module 3.5mm plugins are loose and cause a lot of static until you wiggle them around. If you want to play music though this device or listen through headphones, you are in for a big disappointment. This is unforgivable because the whole point of buying these is so you can play quietly and listen through the headphones. I see where Donner has phased out the DED-200 because of the crappy module and replaced it with a newer version. I will write them and see what they have to say. Why couldn't they just put in some quality jack inlets instead of these? If you plan on sticking with playing the drums buy something better and avoid these. Ony had for a few months are don't expect them to last even a year. Shame, because I really do enjoy playing them and believe electronic drums are the future.
The drum set came with a missing piece. The support takes for ever to get back and even more to have the problem fixed. After trying so many times and waiting a month for them to give me a date for the piece to be shipped to me(would take over a month to receive) if they have the piece, I decided to return. It was supposed to be my son's Christmas gift.
this drum set didnt last long and started to get delayed sounds and then the toms didnt make sound, also the foot pedal doesnt want to stay in place it moves around to much like a toy drun set or something. it also feels very cheap.
Horrible to put together. Horrible quality! First time trying the drums and everything was coming apart! I will never buy anything third party from walmart.com again!
