We purchased this tablet for our 9 yr old for Christmas and he is enjoying it very much. It is perfect for him and now wish I would have ordered more. The price was more than a bargain, but I was weary about buying two until tried it out first. I really like that it is a bit bigger, with a 9" screen, and also that it has it's own keyboard...kind of like a mini laptop. The photo that I have here though doesn't really do it justice. The only thing that confused us was the fact the case has a tab on it, but there is no Velcro or anything to actually keep the case from opening. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
I love mine !! It is stylish, works great and worth more than I paid. Just get 32gb memory card and you will be fine. It works like a laptop, shows Netflix movies great. The cam looks fuzzy but I don't use it anyway. All in all I am happy!! I can read my eBooks, plus use the usb cable to transfer files to my laptop to print. I browse the web, use facebook, shop and email. I love it for playing Farmville 2 also.
This tablet seems to be very good. The dual core processor is pretty snappy and the display is decent. I love the included keyboard and case. It would be nice if it were a wireless keyboard but for $100 what do you expect. I have found that most applications work great on it. Words with friends does have some wierd checkerboard issue that I have not resolved yet. The other thing that I have not been able to find for this tablet is a set of windows 7 drivers, so that you can use the android development kit to access it. I am hopeful there is a compatible driver for it out there somewhere but so far no luck. You can use usb cable to transfer files between computer and tablet. I also bought 32 gb micro sd card which works fine but I have not figured out how to install apps on it yet. Moving apps to SD card using app manager only moves the app to the internal 5 GB(not 8) SD card and never to the external SD card so capacity appears it may be a problem in the near future. I am hopeful that all these things are easily solved, but things I have not yet figured out. All and all it seems like a really good deal for $100.
Purchased this tablet for my Mom who is not tech-smart. That's the reason I chose something inexpensive.. But once I received the tablet along with its accessories, I was very much pleased with all it had to offer... I love it and would purchase this again if need be.
I've ordered several tablets and always ended up returning them. Thought I'd try one more time and I'm pleasantly surprised. For the price, this is an acceptable tablet. Has some problems but overall it does what I need it to do. When you turn the tablet it doesn't change from landscape to profile - only works one way. That being said, when it's attached to the keyboard, it's facing the wrong way and it's difficult to use the keyboard. But again, overall, it's a great little tablet - downloaded all my games, use it for email and surfing. It's fast and dependable. I would recommend it!
I bought 3 tablets. They are worth $100 but no more than that. It is basically a giant cell phone without the phone. Start uploading apps and it runs out of room real fast. We had to go online to figure out how to make the device use the extra five gigs. It is not a bad deal for a young kid say 7 to 13 years should enjoy it. Good Luck
The basic programming is very close to a touch screen android cell phone, great for beginners or someone who just wants to brows the web, read a book, play games or watch a movie. Has SD card slot to boost memory, which it needs. Has a front & you facing camera for video chat's & photo's. Came with 3 books. The flip feature of the pad is tricky, the programs seem to pop up in it's own orientation despite how your holding it, so using the key board is awkward... I'm still trying to figure it out... The Color (red) of the case is vibrant & matches the tone of color of tablet exactly. The key board is light & has the feel of a lap top key board, and is sealed with a rubber like mat, So no crumbs under your keys... Over all very pleased with the product, a excellent value for the price.
i chose this tablet mainly for my little guy to be able to play his educational apps unfortunately the specific app isnt compatible with the os but can still access it online. also the whole expandable memory is a bit deceiving because even of you add a micro sd card not all apps can be transferred to it so memory is still limited. good for basic stuff only. the keyboard is a plus though. some people said the holder was the wrong size i thought so too when i saw a small foam in the area where the tablet went but the holders are velcroed on so make sure you remove them and adjust to your size.
Nobis is a horrible product. I bought two of these for my girls. I purchased one in May of this year and the keyboard fell apart 2 months later and even after putting in a micro sd card with more memory, it is constantly saying insufficient memory, I have had to factory reset the tablet numerous times losing all my daughter apps and having to reinstall over and over again her apps. The other one I purchased in Dec of 2013 and it has the same problems. It will not charge, it will not download any, I mean no apps and the volume button has broken and I can't do the factory reset that customer service suggested, which by the way I have done numerous times with this one too. Customer service is horrible. I am not paying $30 for them to fix horrible craftsmanship. I am so glad that I purchased the warranty because I am getting my money back and buying them both brand name tablets. Horrible Horrible Horrible tablet and even horrible customer service.
Sorry piece of junk. Game Apps were difficult to install. Only one worked for one time. Tried to uninstall them. Would not uninstall. Pop up message said (sorry unistaller has stopped working). Now it will not boot up. Message said ( sorry, installer has stopped working). I am returning it tomorrow.
