We bought this bed for my son when he was about 18 months old. Him and my daughter both jump on it all the time. I've stepped on it to reach things on a shelf and it's handled it all just great. I'm actually on the site today to look at getting a matching one for my daughter, now that she's reaching the same age. The paint has stood up to teething and hard toys being whacked against it. It was a bit tough to put together, but that just means it'll take longer to fall apart. ;) Altogether a great buy, superior quality for the price. We love it!
These beds are the CUTEST!! Well made and easy to put together. And most of all the price is fantastic! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BEDS!!!!! My girls LOVE them!
I purchased this bed for my GREAT GRAND DAUGHTER who is two, for when she visits us. It is THE CUTEST little bed and goes well with my other white bedroom furniture. She LOVES IT and never tries to wander, as was our concern. I think she is so happy to have a BIG GIRL bed that she stays PUT! I also bought the Princess bedding, and that makes it EXTRA special! My husband put it together in NO TIME and he is NOT the HANDY MAN! I strongly reccomend this. Infact, my neighbor just ordered one today, after seeing mine!
Highly recommended! We bought this bed online to furnish a play/bedroom for our grandgirl, nearly 2. It's lovely, sturdily constructed, and doesn't take up as much room as a twin, leaving her more play area in the room. It is low enough to the ground that (1) she easily can get in and out herself, (2) it makes handy seating, and (3) we don't worry about her tumbling out as she sleeps or plays on it. The *only* negative for me was that I assembled it alone, and getting the slats aligned was a challenge until I propped one side of the bed on pillows, which helped a great deal. With someone to help, I would imagine assembly is a snap! G-baby loves it, and so do we.
I'm so pleased with this bed! We decided to move our 17 month old daughter to a toddler bed and I was shocked at some of the prices. This one is very sturdy, looks great and was the perfect price! The trundle from her crib even fits perfectly under the bed, so I still have it for storing her sheets and extra blankets. The safety rails are nice, but we still put a couple of pillows on the floor just in case. She hasn't fallen out yet and it's been a week!
My son LOVES this bed. He is 20 months and I can tell he feels so grown up in it. I have a 5 year old and she will lay in bed with him sometimes so it is VERY sturdy and she fits fine in it so i know he has many years to grow in it. It is super cute and yo cant beat the price.
I have a set of twins that are 3. I had their bedroom in two different colors of orange and decided to go for a change. I went with a grayish turquoise- although it looks blue in the picture- Then I decided to decorate with white and black. So I'll be adding black and white sillouettes of their faces to the comforters and completing their room with a few more black or white objects. I liked the way it turned out but I really liked how well the beds looked. They were a little more difficult to put together than I would have expected... and at one point remember needing another pair of hands but still managed to put it together alone. It was when you have to put the slabs of wood into the appropriate places. But when all was said and done... the beds are sturdy enough to last a few years if they don't jump on them a lot... and yes they were given very strict rules about their new beds... lol but they love them a lot so... awesome.
I absolutley love this bed! My daughter is 19 months and has slept in my bed since 4 months old i was nervous to try and put her in her own room but she fell in love with her 'big girl bed' with the dora sheets n everything! she has slept in it ever since me n her dad put it together! it says it hold up to only 50lbs but that is wrong one night i fell asleep in their with her n slept in the bed 2! haha... she can even jump on it and it seems to be very strong..very durable beautiful peice-cant beat the price! only small complaint is on the bed their is a small scrath in the wood and one nail seems to be pooping out a lil...not noticable though...i would recomend this bed to everyone we just loooovvveee it!!!! (very easy to put together)
I have a 3 month old and we bought her a Simplicity crib. The crib was recalled so my husband and I decided to return the bed to wal-mart and order her this toddler bed. She sleeps with us now and we don't see a need for a crib. My husband put her fairyland mobile on the side rail and its perfect. She will lay in her bed and just look at the mobile. My husband also attached her ladybug mirror on the outside rail so when she sits in her bumbo seat she can look at her self in the mirror. My husband and I were both surprised at the quality of this bed for the price! I love the rail that's at the top and bottom of the bed to drape a blanket over. I also attached her bumper pad to the bed and it acts as an all around wall for the bed.
I purchased this bed for my 18 month old son barely two months ago, and let me say this: as I currently sit here and type this review, the bed is completely broken. The screws that go into the foot of the bed and into the side support rails have cracked said rails and now the foot of the bed has completely broken off. I am infuriated. We now have to go out and spend more money to get him yet another bed. I don't know if it is just the white one that is cheap or what. We have a Dorel Sleigh bed in the cherry finish for my 3 year old daughter. She has had it for a year and a half, and it has so far held up OK. So, I do not know why this white one we have totally fell to pieces on us. Think long and hard before buying one of these beds. You may find yourself returning promptly back to the store to purchase a replacement! Ugh.
