This was easy to assemble and looks great set up. It has a rich look and also elegant. Held a man of 185 lbs. Definately a plus for Wal-Mart to carry this bed.
One of my twins began getting out of his crib but couldn't get back in. It was exhausting for his daddy and I. His crib converts to a full size bed but we thought that might be a big leap for him. We decided to buy this little toddler bed as a bridge to help him transition to his full size bed. He likes it yet his twin sister loves it even more to play in during play time. They have both jumped on it and I haven't heard any creaks! I've even been in it to pretend I'm sleeping with no creaks. It is a great bed for the price. We didn't want to spend much since it probably wouldn't be used for very long. And it is extremely easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about 30 minutes or so with just the key tool provided and a screw driver. Some advice to make the transition smoother: attach your child's fisher-price aquarium or whatever they are use to onto the bed and get some new fun sheets as a reward. This has helped immensely with us.
I have researched toddler beds read reviews and chose this bed. I read that you are suppose to use 2 people to put this bed together but unfortunatly I didnt because he was golfing. It was a pain to put it together but I did it, my 32 year old husband has laid down on it with him and it never broke my son jumps on it and is really rough on it and he has yet to break one thing on it.
We are very happy with this toddler bed. It is sturdy, and the perfect size for our two year old. The quality is higher than we expected, and looks similar to our older son's toddler bed, which cost 4 times as much. My husband and father had some minor problems with the assembly, but it was easily corrected; they put the bed together in less than an hour.
i bought this bed for my son, and he loves it. the dark finish is great for a little boy, and the site to store is great. i bought one for my daughter also but in a lighter finish and i would recommend this bed to anyone.
The bed was easy to put together, nice quality, and very cute, and very functional it does the job. and free shipping to site to store was conveinent and affordable.
My son loves this toddler bed! Of course, my husband and I made a big fuss over what a big boy he was in his new BIG BOY BED! He always climbs right up into this bed all by himself! In my opinion, it's better to buy a transition bed like this one instead of taking a toddler straight from a crib to a large bed simply because in my case I felt it would be overwhelming to my child, but that's just my opinion and Wal-Mart offers this bed at an amazingly low price as well .. I searched online and found this same exact bed and was about to pay hundreds more when I thought to check Wal-Mart out and there it was, the same bed, same color, brand, everything, just hundreds of dollars cheaper! That was great for us! My son just love's the bed! I can't tell you enough how pretty and how much we like this bed! He thinks he is is such a big boy climbing into this bed by himself to go to sleep! ME, MY HUSBAND & MY SON ALL LOVE IT _ GREAT BED FOR TODDLERS! GREAT TRANSITON BED AT A GREAT PRICE! I'D RECOMMEND THIS BED TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A TRANSITIONAL TODDLER BED! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!
We got this for our 19 month old son last night. I put it together myself today while my husband was at work, having never put ANY kind of furniture together, I did have a hard time, but mostly because I couldn't keep the nuts straight while attempting to thread the screws. Also, the slats were difficult to get in. Once I had it together it was fine. I made it up and it looked so cute in his room. Right now my husband is attempting to get him to go to sleep in there, but I think it will be a bit of a battle for a week or so. I hope he starts to love his room and we get our bed back! lol I would recommend this bed.. it is a great value for the price paid and it looks to be made well enough to withstand the strength of my big boy for a few years..
For the price, your getting what you pay for. It took me about a half hour to put the bed together. Only problem I had with it was we have hardwood floors and its so lite my 23month old son would push it all around his room. Problem solved with buying little foam grippys in hardware dept.
For the first year the bed was fine for our 2 year old son. Then into the 2nd year the screws started coming out of the wood, the slats started falling out. I had to add more screws to reinforce it but those would fall out too. The footboard has been detaching slowly and today my youngest son who is now 2 sat in his bed and the footboard fell off completely. Part of the wood is horribly chipped. I can not put the footboard back on the bed. Which means I now I have to figure out a place for my 2 year old son to sleep tonight. I do not recommend using this bed any longer that a year. I was hoping to use this for my youngest son as well until we got him into a twin size bed. That isn't the case. It only stayed in its best condition about a year before falling apart. We've had this bed a bit over 2 years. What do you expect for $50 bucks though I guess?
