Bought a 2012 used car, and less than a year later 2 of the tires had dry rot. Price quoted to me from another auto service tire store was too high for tires available online for 35 bucks less a tire, so headed to walmart. Had 2 of these put on the back of my wagon, and drove to Florida and back with not one bit of trouble. the old front tires were noisier than the new ones in back were. Have now had the tires for about 6 months on my daily driver, and they have been great. recommend, but don't know how they are in ice and snow. Will know soon I expect. Bought these tires after reading reviews. Very good for the price so far. Also car mileage was better when these went on.
I immediately noticed a stronger Grip on the road and a Better stopping distance, they also made the car feel like it hugged the road better than the tires I had previously installed.. For the Price, I have recommended this product to friends and anyone I have heard talking about getting new tires.. We had our first snow and they performed better than expected These tires didn't slide except when I forgot I was driving on Ice as well.. But they still performed as designed! Good Job Goodyear!!
I have run on Douglas Tires for many Years. Always a smooth ride and great traction in any weather with the Douglas tire. I would recommend this tire to all my friends and neighbors. I give this tire an excellent for not ever failing me. --Have a Good Day☺.
I don't usually get very excited over buying tires, and to be honest really didn't put a lot of thought into this purchase. Walmart had these in the size I needed and they fit my budget, so put 'em on... They went on a 10-year old Toyota Corolla. On my drive home it really struck me how much quieter and smoother the car rode. The little cracks and bumps in the pavement that I used to feel, I didn't. And the car handled so much better... very true tracking. Even my wife commented on how much better the ride was and how quiet it is now. I'm very happy with the purchase! So now we'll see how it handles the ice and snow we get in Iowa.
Made a big difference on how my car drives and very affordable. I am going to get a 2nd set for the back and I would recommend these tires to a friend
I purchased these tires and was very pleased with the price and the quality. I plan to purchase 2 more to give my car new tires all the way around.
I bought an older car to put these on. My rear tires were very noisy and had flat spots on them. So I bought all new struts, ball joints and tie rod ends. I then went and bought these tires. They too were also very noisy and I was disappointed. I said let me check my wheel bearings. I'm glad I did. They were literally wore out and the source of my noise. After new wheel bearings and an alignment I can say I'm very happy with these tires. The car is now quiet, handles great and looks good on the car. Those leaving bad reviews have underlying issues with their suspension. Especially if your last set of tires wore out prematurely or has uneven wear. I've been working on cars 38 years. I can honestly say they are good tires. I held off six months to write this review to give a good assessment.
First week and the tire is performing great especially for a $50 tire. The tire center met my expectations as well.
I had these put on today at our local Wal-Mart. Service was excellent. My car wasn't any more filthy when I got it back than it was when it went in, which is good, because I HATE grease finger prints all over my car. (I have kids, so my car is never CLEAN clean.) Tire itself is SUPER quiet. My old tires were starting to show fibers-yes I know I waited too long-and these happened to be "mid-grade" tires out of the three options I had available to me. They seem to be great tires for the price. Time will tell as far as wear, but they seem to have good grip, and they are SO quiet!! I am happy with this purchase.
