Sounds funny to say, but they're almost too good and I eat to many. I usually have the regular dark, but these are very good too. I get them once in a while as a change of pace for me.
Problem is with Walmart using FedEx to ship it. The whole package was melted. It was one big bag of mess. When it cooled it became super grainy. The chocolate taste was very dark, which is great but the grainy texture after it must have melted and cooled in the package was hard to get the chocolates unwrapped and messy.
What can I say other than Indulgent Dark Chocolate? Magnificent Dark Chocolate! I needed convenient individualized Dark Chocolate for a quick snack and frozen treat toppings, and this little gem fits the knack! The chocolate was very easy to unwrap and consume without making a mess, so it was a perfect little snack for my desk when working at the computer. I like the mouthfeel and taste, it tastes like dark chocolate chips, but not too bitter and not overly sweet, it's just the right amount of intense chocolate flavor and subtle sweetness for me. I was able to chop the chocolate square with a metal spoon and add mix the bits into my frozen smoothie treat; the frozen smoothie and dark chocolate bits were the perfect match. Thank you so much for the excellent product and experience!
I think these are a great deal and I like the fact that my doctor allows me to eat 70% dark choclate for the health benefits but as always within reason. The individually wrapped pieces help me keep the candy fresh as do not have to open the seal on a whole bar as I used to do on the large bars of other brands.
I purchased the 70% dark chocolate vs the regular dark chocolate because they are supposed to be better for you. A little hesitant because I know that darker chocolates can be bitter, but not these. They are fabulous! I love them so much I bought 3 bags of them to share.
Always delicious, especially when you are craving just a taste of chocolate. These are the perfect size for that and dark chocolate is actually good for you too, in small quantities, yea! So good when refrigerated, bite off a bit and let it melt slowly in your mouth, Yummm.!
So very disappointed I bought this chocolate is part of my grandmother's 104 birthday present. It was delayed in shipping and when I noticed it was coming from pretty far away which is odd and it came to me melted so really unedible because the truck that's all melted the inside of the bag is full of melted chocolate.️️ :(
When we received the Dove chocolate, we thought it was the large "share" that that you can buy, for about the same amount, at a regular store. We were surprised that it was the small bag that you can get at the store for $6.99 We wrote to Walmart about our concerns but no response.
Received three bags of Dove Promises Deeper Dark Chocolate 70% Cacao, Sharing Size - 7.23 oz in September at $11.98 each. All three were discolored and tasted old. They expire 4/2023 so they may have been improperly stored. Contacted WalMart first and they would not refund or replace due to product and time. Contacted 101cells and they stated they would refund. I had started a return through WalMart and they told me they couldn't refund until I cancelled or returned product to WalMart. I cancelled the return request since WalMart already informed me they would not refund/replace. That was a week ago and 101cells hasn't corresponded since I canceled the WalMart return.
I love Dove Promises Chocolates but my last order was completely unsatisfactory. I ordered them along with a number of other items. Everything came in one shipment except for the bag of chocolates which arrived by themselves a couple of days later in a separate box. I put them away shortly after they were delivered to my front door. Nothing looked amiss about the packaging, but when I opened them a couple of weeks later I discovered that they had been allowed to melt. They must have taken the extra long route during delivery in the heat of summer. No silky smooth deliciousness in this batch. The texture is grainy and crumbly. Very disappointing. Beware when ordering these online.
