I ordered this product due to my baby excessively crying due to colic and allergies to diary this helped ease her tummy also I switched her formula, I'd highly recommended this product for fussy babies
Cute monster belt is so cute and well made with bring colors to draw your attention. It fit comfortable around the baby stomach and give them a smile while help them release stomach issues. I like that you can make it cold or hot what every your need are. I would like a adult one for myself. I would add this to new baby list for gifts or your baby. This product worked very well and it did not bother my baby being around it's belly I also liked that you can use it warm or cold like an ice pack I think this product is an awesome idea and definitely if you're looking to get a gift for a baby shower this would be very cute and nice.
My sweet Iris is having some tummy troubles. I popped this bad boy open, warmed it up and was able to calm her down for the first time in a couple hours. It's cute and she found some relief. Wonderful product! Love Dr. Browns!
Dr. Brown's gave me this product to try, and my baby and I absolutely love it! This is a must-have product for little ones. First, it is really cute. My baby loves to wear it, and play with the toys. This is great for when little ones are experiencing tummy aches, and/or colic. It can be warmed in the microwave, but it does not have to be heated in order to be effective. The belt wraps around baby's mid-section, and secures with velcro. This alone makes my baby a lot calmer. She is then free to engage both of her hands on the toys, while feeling like she is enveloped in security. The ability to actually warm the gripe belt makes it that much more likely to reduce aches and pains from gas, or simple upset. This is perfect for baby shower gifts, or a gift to bring to the hospital to present the new mom with when baby is born. We love ours!
My great grandson is a colic baby. We tried several different methods and this gripe belt is awesome! I caution you to knead the clay pack well and make sure it is not too hot before applying. It worked very well to soothe his tummy and help him pass gas and sleep. We had quite a few sleepless nights before this purchase. Worth it's weight in gold.
Dr brown's gave us the gripe belt in exchange for honest feedback. My first impression, I wasn't sure it would work. After having a few fussy baby days, I started using the belt as a go-to. All you need to do is warm the insert for 20 seconds in the microwave on medium power, then massage till it feels evenly warm and not too hot and put the pack back into the fuzzy creature. Wrap it around your little one and tada. My 9 month old loves the crinkle ears and circle teether attached to it. The warming seems to help his tummy just fine. We haven't tried it as a cold pack yet, but with summer quickly approaching, I'm sure we will. So far we're enjoying this neat monster!
I received this item for free from Dr. Browns in exchange for my honest feedback. I was intrigued by this item, as I'm always looking for natural ways to soothe baby. My daughter does not have significant colic, but she does get fussy at times after eating and you can tell she's uncomfortable. I heated the pack up in the microwave for 20 seconds, and followed the instructions to move the clay around a bit. I placed it back in the belt (the belt has a nice thick velcro-like material to hold the pack in, and the material used for the belt so soft and thick enough to protect baby too!) I simply placed the belt on baby and that's it. So easy to use. It doesn't work 100% of the time for my daughter, because of course, babies don't talk and can't tell us what's really bothering with them, but it does seem to soothe her pretty well. The pack can be used for heat or it can be frozen. It's made of a very thick, soft vinyl type of material that you don't have to worry about breaking. Pros: -Soothes baby naturally without medicine or probiotics -Nice, soft, thick materials used -Excellent quality -My daughter loved grabbing the ears on the cute little lamb -Easy to follow instructions for heating and applying -Can be used for heat or frozen Cons: -Doesn't work 100% of the time (but I didn't expect it to!) -I had to trial and error to find the right timing for my microwave so it wasn't too hot or too cool I would definitely recommend this to family and friends!
Dr. Brown's gave me this product to try and it helped relieve my child's gas and reflux issues. The belt is really cute and is adjustable to perfectly fit your child. The directions are easy to understand and simple to follow. I really like that this is a natural alternative to using medications and is also a bpa free product. I would definitely recommend this product.
I received this product for free to try out for 5 days and leave my honest review. My son is 8mths old and has always struggled with gas, colic and GERD. So was very happy to give this a try, but wish I would have tried it sooner! Instructions were easy to follow. The belt did help with his gas and tummy pains for the short while he would keep it on.. I think this would be great for younger ones, not yet crawling or as mobile. My LO thought of it more as a toy and didn't really like it wrapped around his belly. I liked the toys attached, and cute looking monster…My only complaint is the crinkle noise part on the monsters ears. My LO found it to be distracting.
