I have 3 children and all have exclusively used a Dr. Brown's bottles. I was fortunate to learn of these bottles just before giving birth to our first. So fast forward 5 years, we've had two more kids, and I couldn't bring myself to buy something less than the best for my babies! My kids have been so lucky to grow up less gassy, colic-free, and hardly ever much spit-up compared to many other families. This has been, and will be, the only bottle I ever recommend!
We bought the Dr. Brown's standard bottles shortly after switching him over to formula. Ever since the switch we noticed a drastic difference. He was far less fussy, not spitting up as much and didn't need to burp as often. We love the product so much we would recommend them to everyone and have been. We also purchased the Dr. Brown's PreVent pacifiers and love them as well. We plan on buying all the future products for our baby Gareth as he grows!
These bottles are fantastic! I got them as a gift at my baby shower. My son was extremely gassy and would cry all the time the first two weeks he was born, so I researched it and many people said to use Dr. Browns bottles. I thought to myself, "how can a bottle help with this?!" He is my first child so I was down to try anything. I knew I had some already so I said why not. Sure enough about two days later he was totally fine! Two weeks of gas and crying to a very happy baby! 6 months later and they are still the only bottle we use. We started with the 4oz and are now up to the 8oz bottles. My son uses both the standard and wideneck bottles and loves them! Thank you!!
As a first time mom, I didnt know the first thing about choosing a bottle for my newborn. After lots of research, I went with Dr. Browns and I am glad I did. My baby boy loves his bottles and he especially loves the way his tummy feels after every meal. No gas, No fuss! Love 'em!
My son was weighing 5lbs 12oz went home weighing 5lbs 8oz. Due to my son being born with a cleft lip and palate he struggled with gaining weight and swallowing extra air making his very uncomfortable . We met with our plastic surgen when my son was 2 weeks old and they gave us a Dr. Brown bottle. 2 weeks after getting the bottle my son had his first surgery and he was up to 7lbs 4oz and having alot less tummy troubles. Your bottles saved us. Thank you.
I have tried many different brands of bottles cause my 7 month old son was very colicky. Once I tried Dr. Browns it got a little easier and seemed to be the only nipple he liked. I wish there wasn't so many pieces and small spaces that formula could build up on. It is kinda time consuming scrubbing every piece to make sure they are clean, but still the only bottle I will buy/use. GREAT BOTTLE!
I had been exclusively breastfeeding but wanted to introduce bottles so that my husband could feed our daughter when I was away on short errands. I tried so many bottles and my poor baby would practically drown in them because the flow was so fast. Dr. Brown's preemie nipples are the ONLY thing that I could find that would work after trying medela, tomie tippie, and many more popular brands. These bottles were great at preventing gas. It greatly eliminated spit up and she burped easily after taking the bottles. I didn't think the additional parts were a hassle. It only takes 30 more seconds to clean the 2 extra parts and assembly was a no brainer. I would recommend these to anymore having trouble with spit up after feeding and especially the preemie nipples for those transitioning from breastfeeding. They are a bit pricey, but not anymore than the other popular brands that didn't even work and I wasted a ton of money trying them all out.
Love the standard bottles. Evan has used the bottles since I stopped breast feeding. He easily latched and never had a problem experiencing gas or being fussy. We've used the premie, 4 ounce and now the 8 ounce bottles. I can't wait to see Evan hold the bottle and feed himself! The bottles are lightweight and easy to clean/put together. I just wish they had more coupons or stores had them on sale more often. Also looking forward to using Dr. Brown's other products; such as teething, nooks, sippy cups and silverware:)
I've tried numerous bottles for my two month twins who have trouble latching. These and the original Avent bottles are working the best so far, however these are the only bottles with no vacuum. These are the only bottles that the babies don't need to let go of from time to time to let air in through the nipple, which makes feeding more efficient. Plus they're supposed to be good for preserving vitamins in breast milk and their replacement nipples are cheaper the Manu other brands. Only negative is that the extra piece for venting can be tricky to remove and still keep clean (ie not drop and touch the counter) when your trying to make a bottle while holding a crying baby.
Love these bottles. Initially bought one just to try out and was impressed. There is one bottle that leaks and we can't figure out why but all others are perfect.
