Any one who has a need for a sock that is comfortable has some cushion under the foot and a sock that stays on no matter what this is the sock for you. It is also very durable as far as being washer multiple times it held up well for years. I also like that the sock has kept its elasticity for years, that's a bonus in my book. What good is a sock after the elasticity goes south and your droopy socks just lay in the drawer like some sad napkin. I would most definitely buy more in the future.
I am very hard to buy for when it comes to socks. I have a very large calf. Women's socks are never big enough and most men's socks are just too tight on my calves. Plus I have edema and there is a lot of water in my swollen legs. I bought these Big and Tall socks and just love them. They are soft and wash very well. They do not bind on my legs. I am a diabetic and don't want anything too tight on my legs. These feel so good on my feet and feel comfy and soft in my shoes. I even sleep in these socks to keep my feet warm.
Just as ordered. My husband has issues with tight socks and these have really helped with the tingling in his feet. I have bought multiple pairs in different colours and they do the trick.
I bought the "Dr. Scholl's Big and Tall Men's Diabetic Crew Socks" for my husband. He is NOT diabetic. He has had rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years. Regular socks, when new, do not stretch enough to be comfortable because ankles/legs swell. They usually do swell in the afternoons and evenings. About the time regular socks wear out, they finally stretch enough to feel comfortable. And because he wears a size 15 shoe, even big & tall size "regular" socks seem to cut off circulation and leave big indentations in his legs where the socks' elastic is. This happens even though he has skinny legs. He loves these socks and says they feel good the first time he puts them on. I like it that they are half the price of diabetic socks at the local pharmacy. They do seem expensive, but comfort is hard to find at any price when you have RA.
Have been buying these for my husband for about 5 years. He has a high instep and his feet swell. The regular men's size is too small so I get the Big and Tall size. Had to order on line because can never find them in my store - the shipping was very quick!
These socks are really good. Comfortable, like not wearing socks at all. Do not leave the ring around your lower leg. Great for circulation. Great for diabetics, and everyone else.
I ordered some diabetic socks from a big and tall store, size 14w shoe, that were advertised as diabetic. The socks I received looked nice but as soon as I started putting one on, I could tell they were going to be too tight. I am returning them. I then bought these diabetic socks from Walmart and they fit great. They are not binding at all. I can wear them all day and not think about my feet!
Bought for my son who has a size 14 foot and very large boned. These fit his wide, thick foot and his legs without cutting off his circulation. We have had a time finding big and tall men's socks that do not cut off his circulation and swell his legs up. All we are finding today he can not even get his foot in them. These are the only socks that fit him.
BOUGHT THESE SOCKS FOR MY DIABETIC DAD WHO WEARS A SIZE 12 SHOE. THESE STATE SIZE 13-15 SO FIGURED THEY WOULD HAVE PLENTY OF FOOT ROOM. THEY FIT WELL ON THE TOP BUT THE FOOT SIZE WAS NO LARGER (MAYBE EVEN SMALLER) THAN THE REGULAR SIZE SOCKS. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT BECAUSE I BOUGHT 8 PAIR AND THEY AREN'T CHEAP. ALSO THE TOE WHERE IT IS SEWED HAS A LARGE BUNCHED UP LINE AND ONLY GOES ACROSS HALF THE FOOT?? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE FOR ANYONE OVER A SIZE 11 FOOT.
Quality is far less than the socks than the same socks that I have purchased at the local Wal-Mart. These socks are made of a much lighter material and the toe stitching is very poorly done.
