I received Dr. Scholl's Advanced Relief Blister Guard Socks and I really love them! They are Knee High so also help my legs stay warm when I walk in cold weather. They fit very well and are not too tight. I found them to be very comfortable and even though they are not really tight, they do not fall down when I walk in them. They do prevent blisters from forming also. These socks are really great!
I walk/run with my dog on a park with rolling hills every morning. When I run down hill, my toes tend to push forward in my shoe. And when I run up hill, the back of my heel rubs against my shoes. These socks are well padded and they are sooo comfortable! They are sold in a 3-pack and really do protect your feet from blisters caused by friction with their “Blister Guard” technology. They are made with 76% polyester, 20% recycled polyester, 3% nylon and 1% spandex. The socks have a non-binding comfort top that stays put when I exercise. They also have an ultra-smooth padded “Invisiseam” toe seam, and “DS Dry” Moisture Management Technology and are anti-microbial, which controls odor on the sock. Blister Guard, Invisiseam, and DS Dry are registered trademarks. Fits women's shoe size 4 to 10. I wear a 6.5 shoe, and I can stretch this sock to my knees without looking oversized. After 2 hours in the park with my dog, my feet were still dry! They hold their shape when washed and do not shrink. I plan to buy more!
These socks are perfect. Very comfortable, both in the foot and the calf. They don't fall, stay put all day and, incredibly, don't even leave a mark after wearing them all day. Most knee high socks either keep falling and it's so annoying having to pull them up all the time. Or leave an angry welt under your knee. These don't. I love them. They're medium thickness. You can still use them with street shoes —don't expect a thick warm sock. They're good for moderate temperature. Really nice socks.
These socks are ok. They are not too thick, so they really perfect for every day use in boots. When I opened up the package, I noticed that they are of different length. I don't think it matter that much as they should fit size 4-10, and we are right in the middle :)
The Dr. Scholl's Women's Advanced Relief Blister Guard Knee Highs are super comfy. The band at the top is not tight which is great! The areas that are prone to blisters have extra protection, they are thicker in those areas, but not too thick, it is just right. I love the fact that that the shine/calf area of the knee highs are more of a soft net, they do not cause my legs to become hot. They have a nice stretch to them and are very comfortable!
I like how soft these feel with the cushioning around the toe and heel area. They don't bind around my toes while in my shoes. They are also so warm and stay in place and go up over my calves, I am 5'4". The weave pattern is nice on the legs and is not too tight or constricting but stays in place.
These knitted women's knee high socks are loosely woven (sort of like diabetic socks), yet are still very warm. The thicker woven "blister guard" toe & heal areas make the socks seem to fit better and stays in place quite well. I'm going to wear them beneath my winter boots for added protection & comfort. They seem a little longer than regular knee socks & come a little bit up over my knee & seem to stay up well without binding or leaving a mark at the end of the day. So far, I'm LOVING them!
Socks are one thing I have to physically go shopping for because I need support, good quality material and these are nice, but they're a little too high for me. The top portion of the socks aren't very durable regarding the elastic. I'm just super picky though!
The bottom of the sock that goes around your foot is not too bad but there are a lot of seams that are not smooth that annoy your toe if you Have snug fitting shoots. Also the weave of the fabric if you wear them for a long time on a hike, it feels like the weave of the fabric is smashing into your skin and making an imprint. whatever this fabric is it doesn't give with your step it just smashes into your skin. Also the top part of the sock is so flimsy and generic and junkie that it's a different lightweight material that you can see through when you stretch it up over your path. Really poor quality. I was looking for stocks that I can wear with my hiking boots and my work boots because the world seems to think that women don't need work socks. So I've been buying men's all these years and they are a little too big but at least they have works at quality of moisture wicking, boot high length, comfort... I'm giving them away to somebody that just sits around all the time. also they shrunk too much and now they are too snug. as you can see in the photo the top part of the sock is flimsy thin crappy material. I tried to give it one star but the machine would not let me
i really wanted to love these socks. They are super soft and comfy. i love how they feel on my feet. They are a great length, look cute and fit well. Unfortunately, they snag really easily. They actually snagged as i was taking them out of the package and then got a couple more snags the first day i had them on. After washing on delicate, they still pilled up really badly.
