Bought this for my grandson. It's not great, but it works and he loves it. Hopefully he will gain an interest in piano and we have to upgrade. Good starter.
It is the best, cheaper and most compact solution for people like me that travel a lot always with a Notebook and need to practice piano or to use as a controller. It has 49 keys and includes a software that allows you to feel like playing a real keyboard piano, with several options of voices and styles. But...the touch sense is terrible, dificult to play, a TOY. And the key's width is shorter than real keys. Why not doing it right? This provider can do it better in the future and become the best in class, as it is the smaller solution that exist. Doesn't require battery, just a PC or Notebook to connect. For next version I suggest: Real size 49/61/88 Keys options, better touch sense, a Software with nicer graphic user interface, and allow connect also to Mac/iPhone/iPAD. I know other roll-up pianos with a much better touch sense, so it is possible to have a better controller like this in the future. I will buy it when it happens.
I was disappointed when I recieved this product. It was supposed to be a gift for my five year old, but now its a return. The piano only works after you download software on your computer. While the piano is capable of producing different types of sounds, the volume and the quality are limited to the quality of your computer speakers. The piano has no source of power other than the USB cord. I imagined my child would be able to play independently with this toy. That will not be happening since I do not trust my child to be with my computer alone. I am not sure who this piano is best suited for, as I do not think an adult would like it either. The software has only about seven preloaded practice songs, and the keys require firm pressure to produce sound.
Dreadfully slow, it cannot keep up with even the most novice of keyboardists. The only redeeming part of it is the number of rhythms.
