You don't know what your missing until you have one. Not only will your baby sleep better but you no longer have to drag out all the blankets in the house in an attempt to make the pad/board in the playpen more comfortable. Even better, this mattress won't absorb the spilled juice or what ever escapes from the diaper so you can simply wipe it off versus washing and drying the three loads of blankets you used in the past. I was worried about storage and traveling but the mattress fits under my bed, in the back of my coat closest and in the trunk of my midsize car with ease. Like many other reviews stated, play yard sheets are too small but regular crib sheets fit fine. Like everyone else, I wish it didn't cost as much but now that I have seen and used it, the price is reasonable. If you have pets, I have seen pet beds smaller than this mattress that cost more. When the play yard days are over, it will be perfect for him to sit or lay on while playing or watching TV since I have hardwood floors in the living room.
So much better than the hard board that comes with the play yards. My 4-month-old granddaughter naps during the week on this mattress and seems very comfy. I use it in the Cosco brand play yard and it fits perfect. The measurements are listed correctly in the description, so I recommend measuring before you purchase. You will need play yard sheets that say they fit 3in. mattress or more.
I live in a very small apartment so we do not have room for a crib. We rely on the pack n play every night and That thin cardboard with a slight padding on it just wasn't enough! My daughter would cry until I picked her up and brought her to bed with us. So I thought I would try a mattress. I'm so thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. My daughter had no issues transitioning from sleeping withSus for 2 months to sleeping on her own. Worth every dime to invest in the more expensive mattress with springs instead of Memory foam.
After reading the reviews saying the mattress was hard, I wasn't sure if I should purchase; but after browsing the internet, this was the best deal. I liked the fact that it was a real spring matttess. It Iis thick enough and it is PLENTY SOFT ENOUGH. I would have never thought it was too hard. This is just what I wanted and fits perfect in top of pack n play.
This mattress is a great fit for the Pak N Play. The baby seems to sleep longer and better on it then the board that the Pak N Play came with. Several weeks before I ordered the mattress I ordered the Pak N Play sheets. Unfortunately, they do not work with this mattress. Regular crib sheets are what you need for this mattress.
My daughter was not napping well in her pack and play and her grandmother's house (her grandma watches her while I work). We assumed that it may have been the pack and play because the padding was quite thin. As soon as the mattress came in and we installed it, she began napping well again. The mattress came in earlier than expected and fit the pack and play perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a graco pack and play.
I had a foam 3 inch mattress for my pack n play. My first daughter only used it for naps and occasionally over night at my parents. I always found it very hard and my daughter always had trouble staying asleep. I decided to buy the spring mattress because my daughter would need to sleep in her pack n play for a week. She slept like a "baby" on it! It feels just like her crib mattress. Before you buy make sure you check the demensions. I meassured the base of my pack n play. All pack n plays are different. But you want a good fit for the mattress. Great value. Wipes clean if there are any accidents. Great for traveling or to keep at the grandparents. Love it!
This mattress fits my Graco Pack n Play Portable Playard perfectly. I couldn't be happier. The mattress has a nice thickness and feel like a crib mattress. Gone are the days of filling a playpen with countless blankets to make it bearable for infants and toddlers to sleep in! Yeahhhhh
Fit perfectly in our pack n play....Better than the little pad that comes with it. I had no issue using the pack n play mattress cover and sheets I already had. The sheets I had are jersey knit, and perhaps that helps. (Read reviews that pack n play sheets do not fit it)
I built a co-sleeper and built it to the dimensions shown on the website: 39L x 28W x 3D. once i received the mattress, the dimensions were actually 38L x 25W x 2.5D. if you are using this mattress in any custom built cradle / frame, be sure to measure it before you build and do not trust the manufacturers dimensions.
