My DH is on overnight oxygen and we needed a pillow to raise him for easier breathing - this pillow is the right height for the right price! I had to do a search for a pillow case to help protect the cover that comes on the pillow but found one that fits pretty well. Altogether, this is a good purchase!
I got this to elevate my head because of breathing difficulty during the night. It has worked great. It stays in place. It keeps it's shape. Not too hard or too soft. I don't know how long it will last but I will buy another just like it when needed. The price was very good. Very affordable. It comes with a cover but I will leave that one on permanently and buy another cover to change regularly.
My wife recently had surgery having mesh removed from her stomach. Laying flat is NOT an option. She tried pillows, an armed pillow, nothing worked as well as the Wedge Pillow does. She can be lifted up enough to take the strain from her surgery site without being uncomfortable in her back. Wish we would have thought of it sooner.
A friend of mine recommended this to me because I complained of hip problems and the need for a pillow to be between my knees when sleeping. I love this wedge and use it when I am reading or watching tv in the bed. I usually place it under my knees and calves but I've also used it for my back. Either way it's been very comfortable and I highly recommend it to anyone with back, hip or knee problems that keep you from sleeping.
Using the wedge pillows has been just short of a miracle. It has reduced our snoring by 95-98%, and since I have been using this pillow my acid reflux has become non-existent. It has been so great, I have purchase some of these pillows for other relatives and recommended them to other friends and relatives. It may not solve everyones problems, but it is a low cost way to try and eliminate some issues.
Thanks Walmart - - was able to obtain this wedge at a fraction of the price at medical supply stores - - and it's the same item they sell. Is packaged in a clear, zippered plastic cover (in addition to the white fabric zippered cover) which we will save for when/if we need to transport the wedge elsewhere - - much better than the flimsy cellophane packaging we've seen at some medical supply stores. The wedge itself is identical to the ones we've purchased in the past at these other places at double the price.
Bought this pillow to help with my CPAP/Sleep Apnea. Needed a wedge pillow because I was sucking in too much air while I was sleeping and needed to elevate my head. This did the trick. It is comfortable - not to steep, but rather has a nice gradual elevation to it. Would recommend and buy again!
Very happy with wedge pillow. I have severe nighttime reflux, this pillow has helped tremendously. It is hot next to your skin, so I placed it under the fitted sheet, problem solved. It is a bit narrow if you are of large stature. Can't beat the price.
The dream serenity multi -use bed wedge pillow and price of $19.99 is great for the pocketbook. My family would love to eventually acquire the expensive mattress set that is motion controlled. Since we can't afford it, we decided in purchasing the Dream Serenity Wedge pillow and ever since the purchase. There seems, to be an improvement with our backs and less snoring throughout the household at night. Since the price is right, check it out and maybe see a difference with your household.
I made the mistake of buying this smaller, lighter wedge pillow. I'm a side sleeper and trying to sleep on this pillow has caused me a great deal of neck and upper back pain. I'd already gotten rid of the packaging, or I'd return it. It's been well-rated by several people, so it must work for some, but it's been a disaster for me. Not recommended.
