I got my 1st Dremel about 6 years ago and have been adding attachments and bits ever since. The piece I am most impressed with is the 1-1/4 fiberglass reinforced cut-off wheel because it goes through anything and everything and for such a small tool it delivers amazing results. I am so happy with my Dremel collection. It's a life-saver and the cost is so incredibly reasonable considering what these products deliver. I will continue building my collection as long as I have a shop and I've always had a shop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a tag that was left on a sweatshirt that I had ordered online. When I called to take it to a store to have it removed, the store was no longer in business. When I called again they told me to keep the sweatshirt and try to get the security tag off. This worked perfect in cutting it off without busting the dye pack inside.
There are many times when an assembly doesn't quite fit or an errant machine screw is blocking insertion.Poorly finished access holes or irregular parts can affect intended operation and need modified. The cut-off shells can shave, cut or nibble just enough metal off of a cast/punched/pressed piece to properly make the fit work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I just used one of these to cut a kitchen faucet body in order to remove it from the sink when I couldn't free the nut on the bottom side of the sink basin. It worked great; no breakage or sign of wear. I think I will be using these from now on in place of the plain abrasive cutoff wheels.
I've used these for just about anything, metal, plastic, foam, wood (yes it smokes). They are great for bolts and nuts (if you can get to them). I won't use the non-reinforced disc...I've had a couple disintegrate during use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Modeling, housework, auto repairs, you name it, this cut off wheel does it ALL light weight, small to get in tight places, and cuts through even the hardest metals! I recommend this product to ALL my friends wen they need such a accessory!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't waste your time with the standard cutting wheel, if you have a heavy hand these cutting wheels are the ones to buy. And they last and last. Spend a little extra and you will save time going back to hardware store.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased and repurchased Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels over and over because I find so many applications for its use. As a woodworker, I use the cut-off wheel as a router, a shaper, a saw and sander in situations where I am working in tight spaces where I need to create on-the-fly adaptations. I used the Reinforced Cut-Off Wheel in each and everyone of the projects in the attached photos.
These resist shattering, and seem to last pretty decently.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these cutoff wheels all the time for a variety of things. Cutting the bolts on toilet hold downs,, general metal cutting, even wood at times. They cut well and last as long as you don't bind them up.
