I ordered this Walker as I have one just like it and needed another one for my downstairs area. The price was much more reasonable than my other purchase at a Medical Supply store. The delivery was very fast.Gus
I love love love this walker!! Its so easy to maneuver. I love the look and color. For my size 5' 10" it adjusted easily. The seat works great. And as a plus size woman I fit perfectly.
My 90 year old mother broke her hip 3 yrs ago, and has been using a(nother) walker ever since. I was told about this "Drive" walker by a vet who just got one, and it is FAR superior to what Mom had, even tho it is 'similar'. The wheels are bigger, so it travels much easier (she couldn't go on dirt or sand access paths) outside AND inside. It's lighter and the release handles to fold it up are easier to manage. The pull down seat is handy for taking things across the room, or sitting on. Apparently it is slightly higher too (even tho the old one was adjustable), so she is more comfortable walking. Worth every penny! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Nice walker for the price. Jet was the cheapist place I could find on-line. Just one thing, with the walker adjusted all the way down the seat is 24 inches from the floor so a short persons feet will not lay flat on the floor, but on the good side. It is easy to stand up. I am 5'10 and works for me.
We love how it has the best features of both a rollator and walker. It has a seat, it's foldable and it's LIGHT. I will be able to get it into and out of the van easily (I have my own issues).
I received this item very quickly, even with the surrounding nasty weather and I'm very pleased with it's quality and it's reasonable price. Bob K, Towson, md
It's easy to use and I really like the swivel wheels on the front. A little heavier than I thought it would be. My only complaint is that the seat falls down when walking. I wish there was a latch or something to hold it up.
This is bigger and bulkier than I had hoped, but it folds up very compactly, and that's going to work out well for putting it in the car. The seat works out OK for sitting a short period of tine and for carrying things. I can walk straighter with the seat up. I have a large tote bag that I was able to hang from the back. I will still use my Rollator in the house or for walking outside, as it's much easier to handle, but this will work well for going to church or other places.
Although I know the basket is sold separate from the walker, it really should come with one. The rollator is very nice and looks well made at a cost of $102.00, but a little wire basket for an additional $26.00 seems a little overboard to me. To me the basket only looks like it should cost at the very most $5.00 which would include shipping. We are so far extremely pleased with walker and have bought Drive products before and have been very satisfied with the quality. Brian C.
This walker represents a decent design concept executed very poorly and its all because of the cheap plastic wheels used and how they are mounted to the frame. The ultra cheap plastic wheels used on a walker in this price range is a disgrace as they won't even roll over the smallest of obstacles without jamming and sliding making this walker useless outdoors. Also, the front mechanism that allows the front wheels to either pivot or lock in place is so flimsy it flexes all the time and adds to the wheel jamming issue, and to top it all off the wheels don't turn smoothly even on smooth surfaces due to a poor, cheap mounting set up! I'm heading off to buy a NOVA Zoom 24 and will gladly pay the extra money because of the good quality wheels and mounting methods used. I wish I would have known about NOVA brand walkers before wasting my hard earned money on this over priced piece of garbage.
