I suffer from several painful conditions which requires me to sit from time to time during a shower. We ordered this stool and I was a little worried, since it was round, but after receiving it, I am very satisfied with it! It is very sturdy and I feel very secure sitting on it, even being overweight. I would like for the seat to be a little larger, but for a normal sized person this would not be a problem and it's not that big of a one for me. It will be easy to clean and I will also use it outside the tub, to sit on when I have to put my granddaughter in the tub, since I cannot bend over. It will have several uses for me.

I've been very happy with this shower stool. It is much lighter to pick up than my old stool and the finger holes on the under side of the seat make it very easy to move around. I was concerned at first because the legs on the stool go straight down rather than angle out like the old stool. I thought this might affect the stability. But the rubber feet on the bottom of the legs of this stool are very wide and I've had no trouble with it staying upright while I move around. And the seat is blue! A nice change from the boring white of the other stools I've had.
This stool works just as I'd hoped. It fits perfectly into the rather narrow, old-style bathtub. One glitch: the accompanying instruction booklet said to be SURE to use both the metal and the plastic washers when putting it together, but no plastic washers were included. My husband already had it put together by the time I read the manual (he doesn't read them), but the discrepancy made me uncomfortable. I emailed, then phoned the company and they said this design does not need the plastic washers, so they're not included. No apology or explanation as to why the literature insists the assembler needs both, except that maybe something got missed in the printing after the design change, and that old plastic washer language was still left in. I noticed this model is not offered on their site, so perhaps it's discontinued. Oh, one other thing. After assembly, when first put down on the floor, it wobbled a lot. Hubby said it didn't seem safe; maybe should go back. But then he gently pushed outward on the legs and the stool became sturdy. It's fine now. Bottom line, I like it and it does exactly what I bought it to do.
I found this item to be exactly as described. The padded seat is very comfy. Fits very nicely in my walk-in shower.
I purchased this item for a guest bath tub. I had a guest coming who, due to health problems, has trouble standing long enough to shower. The stool was easy to assemble, and the fact the height was adjustable was perfect.
Nice & sturdy bath stool that does the job with no frills. The surface of the seat is hard plastic. Would be nicer if the seat was made of material that was softer. .. Overall however, very easy to assemble. Took about 5 mins. The height is adjustable but it gets a little less sturdy the higher you set it at. For the price though, it is very reasonable.
