This cane seat is easy to carry, to use as a cane, to unfold and fold. It's about as good to sit on as possible for a cane seat. And the cost is reasonable.
This Item is wonderful and works very well , It's very sturdy, and light weight. and works like it was designed to do . I'm very pleased with this item.
I am glad that I got it for the price, but beware if you (women) wear dresses. You must put the handle between your legs for stability. If you are not skittish about this, then it is a good buy. Otherwise get one that you sit on with handle in the back. I mostly wear pants but on those occasions that I wear a dress I will just have to sit the opposite way and position the handle against a wall or DON'T LEAN BACK if you don't have a solid upright surface on which to lean the cane.
The cane is awesome, easy to open and close. The seat is small but comfortable to sit on. The only downside is that the cane is heavier than I thought it would be and the handle is hard, wish it came with a foam grip or something like that so my hand won't get tired or hurt after a while. Not my everyday cane, but great for when I know I'll be out for a while. I never have to look for a place to sit when I'm tired.
I am disabled so this folding, adjustable cane seat is perfect when I need to give my knee a rest. The cane seat is not as heavy as I thought it would be, so I am pleased to take it instead of my regular cane when I go birding. The adjustable height also allows me to take pictures using a mono pod and shooting sitting down!
This is a sturdy and useful chair/cane that did come in handy on a recent trip we took to a theme park in LA. It worked just fine and did provide me with welcome relief from walking a couple miles a day for a couple days. My only minor complaint would be that, when folded, the three legs make it a bit difficult at times to walk with. But the relief provided by the seat more than makes up for that small inconvenience.
Very good item. Very poor customer service from manufacturer. One of protruding screw ends not cut off as were the others. Called manufacturer and requested a plastic cap to cover protruding screw (as they had covered on other screw) and they flatly said they would not send me one!
Perfect for my short height but a little heavy for me. I will be returning it because the legs create a strange feeling when used as a cane. It would go from leg to leg to leg (of stool) when walking. This might not bother everyone.
I ordered twice and both times received the wrong items. I suspect the black and silver version is an older model (my parents have one from many years ago). It gave me the choice to choose which model but both times I received the brown with adjustable legs. Please update the website if the older model's not available anymore. I've messaged seller twice, also called and left a voice mail, never heard back from them. I've returned at the store already, won't get a refund until the items are shipped back to the seller. Hopefully no issues getting a refund. Would not buy from this seller again.
We love this Drive medical chair cane …. In fact we have two of them. Unfortunately the canes that Walmart sent us were not the cane in the picture or the description. When we pointed this out to Walmart they kindly sent us a shipping ticket to return the item with the promise of a refund after ten days. A month later and we are still awaiting our refund. Tracking shows that the product was delivered to the Walmart return center and we have wasted valuable time chatting with customer service trying to get our money back. Sadly this is not the kind of service and customer service that I expect from a supplier. I will seriously reconsider who my supplier is in the future.
