Very nice wheelchair it's nice and smooth when you push it
IT CAME WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD NOW I CAN TAKE MY WIFE ON OUTING
We spotted this wheelchair in use and noted the particulars to buy one of our own. Lightweight (19 lbs), very easy to put together from the box (only foot supports had to be 'installed'); and collapsible, this travel wheelchair has been a godsend. It's exactly what we'd been looking for. I believe there is a weight restriction - check the particulars - my partner is approx 150 lbs and it's a perfect fit.
This purchase was for 91 year old father. He is thin but tall man, just over 6' and the 17" chair was very uncomfortable so we tried the 19" and this works great. We bought a 19" approx. a year ago but one of the nuts that holds the wheel on broke so this was a replacement chair. The chair didn't last as long as expected but he likes the chair a lot, it's not too heavy, is easy to transport and at good price so well worth repurchasing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True light weight and super easy to fold and unfold and takes very little space for the trunk of the car. We have used it with my dad to the park, zoo, etc, but have not used for a real long distance trip involving airplane. I am quite confident now that this wheelchair will be a great tool!
It is lightweight which was a primary consideration when purchasing. I am able to lift in and our of our car easily.
Have a couple of Drive products. This transport is so much easier for car trips; lightweight and easy to fold. Like the brakes on the back wheels. If you are trying to make your life a bit easier, try this one.
Chair folds up nicely and is very lightweight. I'm a small person so I can lift this chair repeatedly in and out of the car when taking my mom shopping and to appointments. The downside is that the left footrest weld has broken and now we have no footrest on that side. The right footrest does not stay in the upward position when you fold it up. I expected for the price we paid that this would hold up much longer. Our previous transport chair lasted over eight years, it's a little heavier but it was obviously built better than this and was half the cost of this chair.
I had two purchases. A large container of laundry detergent and the wheely chair; they were delivered separately. The container of detergent was delivered up to my door. The chair was left in the building lobby. I'm a little old lady. Having the chair brought up would have been helpful and a lot easier for me than the lobby drop. Products both seem fine.
Have the atc19 bl wheel chair less than 6 months and seat guide has broken. See on other reviews this is a common part to break. Only has a 60 day warranty and part is $32 for probably a 50cent plastic part. Not designed to hold up at all. Very disappointed
