Great find on Sam's website!
My father in law is 94 years old and they are really helpful in the restroom to pull himself up. My husband bought me a pair for after my total knee replacement. I love my set and my father in law loves his.
I had one for a knee surgery , I paid 57.00 for it at a medical supply store. Just bought this one for my 87 year old mother. This is just like mine well worth the money. Sure does help if you have trouble from bad knees or back .
My wife has Fibromyalgia and needs to pull on something to get up off the toilet. As we can't put pull handles on the side of the adjacent bath, this frame does the job perfectly as it attaches with the toilet seat bolts. It was easy to install. The delivery was efficient and free as we collected it from the local Walmart Store.
This product is very easy to assemble and install. Provides ample support for sitting and rising. The reason I gave this four stars is because of the height adjustment. It will depend on the height of the toilet. The legs adjust up and down, but the rear part of frame will not, So if you have a taller toilet, and need to lower the legs they may have sleight rear slant, but still gives the support needed. Well made meets expectations. I would recommend this product to others who need this type of device.
Good item at a good price.
Being non-weight bearing after foot surgery, it is the bit of assistance I needed. Assembly instructions could have been a little clearer. It isn't as "beefy" as we expected so it wobbles a bit. But for the price, it is good.
As a former RN I have worked with many geriatric patients with significant mobility issues and I wouldn't recommend this. I was a disappointed by the stability of the arms. They wobble quite a bit when using them. It feels like it might break or bend at any moment. I have been using it about 2 weeks and it hasn't broken yet, though.
Method of attachment to toilet was a great idea, but the overall sturdiness was poor. I bought this for an older family member who had a stroke and it was too flimsy to be of use so I returned it.
I purchased this unit because online it said it was rated to 400 pounds. When it arrived the directions said it was good to 300 pounds. After properly installing it the unit is extremely wobbly and unsafe to use. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase and product.
