This is an excellent tarp for the money and of higher quality than others of comparable price. Perfect size for covering our neatly stacked wood pile and it has held up very well over the winter!
Needed these to cover 2 wood racks for the summer. They had blue tarps in the store, but I wanted something less noticeable and the brown fit the bill. Seem to be sturdy and the brown blends in better than a bright blue. Hope they last.
This tarp is an excellent value for the money. The quality of the material should make it adequate for most uses over a prolonged period of exposure to the elements. My only suggestion for improvement would be a few more grommets on the perimeter.
When I was looking in for a tarp of this size for this value Wal-Mart was my first choice. My only complaint would have to be the durability. A splintered piece of wood damaged it.
I needed a tarp, a good one to use for under my new trampoline, it's huge and wont be able to be moved each time the grass needs to be cut. It was hard to find a good tarp that wasn't blue or silver but had green, to not stand out so much so I could stop the grass from growing under a 17X15ft Trampoline that as not going to be moved each week when the grass gets cut. Perfect tarp for exactly what we were looking for!!! Very Happy!
Fairly good tarp, good price, unique color. Comparable to a standard economy 5mil blue tarp, but i cant find anything on the label that actually specifies the thickness. Although the label says "Full Finished Size!", 12'x16' (or 3.65m x 4.87m) that is WRONG! My tarp measured 11'8" x 15'0". A full foot short on the long end, a few inches on the shorter end. One grommet was either installed wrong, or fell apart. I only found the hole in the tarp missing the grommet, and one half of a grommet. I replaced it with the grommet attaching the fabric sample to the plastic bag. The grommets seem like they are made out of aluminum can material when i pried it off. Probably the same as any other tarp. The green side is not grass green or forest green, its more of a bright unnatural lime or seafoam green. Dont get me wrong though. Some of my complaints are details that others would not have a problem with. Its a tarp, and it works just fine for that.
I guess I expected something a bit thicker. It is very lightweight and flimsy. I used it camping recently and don't expect it to last very long.
The tarp material is the standard cheap tarp stuff. You get what you pay for there. Where you get less than you pay for is the grommet. They are very cheap and thin and unfinished. Several had sharp edges, sharp enough to cut you and ruin the tarp. Also the grommet were oddly spaced so using the tarp was more difficult than expected. The tarps I got were less than 10' wide by several inches. The 12' length was about right.
Much thinner than expected. Several grommets bent by folding for packaging and other grommets were improperly installed. Weave on material is not tight - looks like it was stretched out. Grommets already tearing out from first use (covering boat). I am hoping it makes one season.
Purchased two of these tarps last year with no complaints. This year quality took a big dip, green side looked like patch work quilt and 4 grommet's fell out after 1st use.
