I first used Drylok at least 12 years ago on my basement walls that were seeping water. It lived up to its guarantees and I am stripping the old just now and am going to repaint with the same product.
I've used this product when I was in the process of finishing my basement. There was a side of my basement that I seen a little bit of seepage. I was able to find the solution and painted with Drylock . Since then I've never seen the problem again and it's been dry ever since. Dry lock is easy to work with it, and it gives me peace of mind that Drylock is behind my finished walls.
Acrylic is a good water proofing p product. Have used for many years.
We built a fish pond several years back and due to cost and ease of use, we pick Drylok Original in the grey color. The grey color perfectly matches our concrete, which looks amazing but harder to tell if you missed a spot painting. We did three coats and pond held water perfectly for almost three years, until we got a small crack in the concrete. Drained the pond, pressure washed, filled hole, let dry, and reapplied the Drylok. Simple process and within two weeks (let cure longer due to cooler temps outside), the pond was water tight again. Works great, easy to apply, don't have to worry about liner creases and if you do get a leak, simple and easy to repair to be water tight again.
I use this paint on my cement bird bath. It works!
Applied this product under our front porch steps which we made into a canning cellar. Really worked remarkably.
I bought this white dry lock paint to paint the crawl space in my basement. This was perfect for brightening up the space and blocking moisture I was getting after a hard rain.
It smells, but the end result is very nice once it dries.
I was fooled by the picture! The pic looked exactly like the previous 4 gallons I bought but in reality was a quart! My fault for not reading the fine print!!! Should we have to?
Would like to give 1/2 a star but.... I thought I was purchasing gallon cans, there was no mention of amount but in discription says covers x amount of squares feet in a gallon, and was extremely disappointed when 2 small cans arrived. Will never purchase from independent seller again just Walmart..
