I used a piece of I/O carpet under, not a floor seal. Easier to pick up and sweep. Not even an ant gets through. I put a 5/8 diameter humidifier drain around the side and it is sealed tight around it. Snakes can't get in now. We shake the door to make sure they aren't catching a tan by the door before opening.
Great for 9 foot door Keeps rain and mice out. Run a small bead of silicone on it before nailing it to bottom of door. First time using ship to store and was very easy with email and text sent to pick up.
I got it for my parents landlord for their garage doors and it helped their energy bill

This is very very soft foam. nails to the bottom edge of the door, nails are kinda large, you may want to use smaller nails.

The Duck Brand has made a Garage Door Bottom Seal kit that is simple to install. Having a proper seal keeps out hot and cold air better in all weather and seasons. I like how the rubber is very strong, durable and withstands all weather elements. This particular kit is made for wooden garage doors and for 1 or 2 door garages. This kit is a must for sealing and insulating your garage making it more comfortable all year long.

I am going on over 6 months since I installed this seal and it is still like brand new! It works excellent! 10/10 (which takes a lot for me to rate any product like that!)

I'm happy to hear that this should hold up in any weather as it can get very cold where I live in the winter and hot and humid in the summer. I have not noticed any water seeping underneath the door into my garage.
You really do get what you pay for. This seal didn't do the job. Still have a big problem of water getting in when it rains. Might as well invest in something more substantial.
