[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great weatherstrip for the bigger gaps as it is very thick. It comes in a white color. It is already cut to size to fit your door perfectly. It was very straight forward and easy to use. My door doesn't show light through it any more and is more sealed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great seal strip for our drafty garage door. Also used it to seal my sunroom window to keep out drafts and insects. The double adhesive tape works great. It's durable, easy to use and wipes clean. A great product and I love the 10 year guarantee peace of mind.
The stripping was easy to install and works great
I liked I had enough to do both my back door and front door! Extremely easy to use
I bought this for my front door, cold wind was seeping through and I had tried other things but so far this seems to be doing the trick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this weatherization tape and it works so well. It keeps the weather out and your AC or heat in. It's very easy to use and install. It's made of good quality material and is a great value for the money.
THIS PRODUCT WORKED QUITE WELL, AS A WEATHERSTRIP, FOR USE AROUND DOORWAYS AND FRAMES. MANY SUCH PRODUCTS, FALTER, WHEN IT COMES TO ITS STICKING ABILITY, OF ITS ADHESIVE, THIS ONE DOES THE JOB. THE RUBBER CONSTRUCTION IS DURABLE.
One word of PERCAUTION: When separating the two strips directions say cut the two strips to make one strip before installing under normal circumstances'. TAKE YOUR SISSORS AND CUT ONE INCH ON ONE END TO START THE TWO STRIPS SEPERATING, THEN JUST GRAB ONE END IN ONE HAND OTHER HALF IN OTHER HAND AND PULL APART. You will get a nice smooth separation. Trying to cut all the way down the strip opens you up to nicking the stripping. Don't ask how I know this.
This works well as a cost-effective measure to remove gapping between door and frame, though this product is far from perfect. It definitely closed up the giant gap between my door and doorframe in my apartment (a townhouse style apartment built 40 - 50 years ago with little in the way of updates or maintenance). However, if I put my hand up to the door, I can still feel cold air coming through somewhat. The stickiness also didn't hold up well on parts of the doorframe and I had to use a few small nails to get it to stay. Not sure about the longevity, but it does keep the big gusts of air out as well as helps to muffle a bit of the noise from outside.
This is super thin. I live in ny and will not work in my door.
