I love this guy. My last one lasted for over 3 years. Two summers of 100 plus heat beaming down on the last one broke him down. For the price though he is good for that unexpected Texas freeze. It protected my north facing faucet in that now infamous 2021 Texas freeze. Thank you for a great product.
Well, the weatherman predicted sub zero temps and I figured that I better cover my outside faucets. I bought these covers because they were the cheapest I could find. They were super easy to install, took less than 10 seconds. You just put the plastic ring around the faucet and then tighten. Thats it. The covers must have worked well because it got to -2⁰F and I had no problems with busted pipes.
This is a great product every time. Produce is AWFUL MOST EVERY TIME though. This is what was delivered to me as a WM CUSTOMER. I
Bought a week ago and am getting ready for the freeze. I normally wrap with black insulation foam strips but don't know where to buy. So I'm hoping for the best. Has a few gaps around brick so will put a sock around the spout for extra protection. Fits my spout perfectly even though it is smaller than most. Great product. Glad o have this now!
I ordered the items for in store pick-up. I needed them to prepare for an ice storm. I drove in to Walmart to pick up my item. I received notification minutes before my scheduled pick-up time that the item was out of stock. This was on January 12, 2024. I was notified it would be shipped. I received notification after notification that it was running late. The item came in way past the ice storm. I just received it a couple of days ago.

Please read to the end. I know it's long but they want details so I gave details. I saw these “Duck Faucet Covers” and thought; “wow how can this possibly work?” They were cheap so I bought 3 because my curiosity won over my logical thinking. Having gone through frozen, broken pipes a couple years ago I took other precautions just in case my suspicions and doubts about this product became true. My Dad laughed at me when he saw them. Regardless I put them on my outside faucets. :) I had to chuckle myself. To be fair they are really easy to install. I woke up to both of my outside faucets FROZEN SOLID! Sorry I didn't take a pic of the frozen spigots, I was too busy pouring hot water on my faucets, which probably was a bad idea also. *I only poured hot water on my metal spigots. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS.* I should've gotten the hair dryer. I wasn't too worried because like I said I took other precautions just in case. Thank goodness that they were only frozen in the spigots. However my hot water line was affected. I have hot water but it doesn't stay hot very long especially in my master bathroom. Could've been worse, trust me, been there done that. I'm sure it's an easy fix. I am a Walmart member for over 3 years. I am disabled and I physically cannot drive. The delivery service really helps me, BUT Walmart will deliver but they won't pick up for these types of returns so I'm not even going to BOTHER returning the faucet covers. I'd rather take the loss. Dealing with customer service is a job in itself. I HATE calling customer service. I have things delivered at LEAST two times a week. They could easily just take it back with them but I don't know their policies. Apparently it's against their policy or something, honestly I didn't even understand what I was told by customer service when I asked. They would pick up for returns during the pandemic but not anymore. For disabled people like me that's VERY inconvenient. If I could go to the store to return it I would not need the delivery service. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THESE FAUCET COVERS! I figured that they wouldn't work but I had to try. I'm glad that I did so that I can warn others. As for Walmart, you really should review your policies on returns. I think if it was delivered then it should be picked up for returns and refunds. They'll come and pick up if the product was shipped, it's a hit and miss. I hope this helps someone. To Walmart: I'd really would appreciate a refund. You can have this garbage back.
Damaged
Was mailed in a plastic bag. Arrived completely crushed… needs to be packaged in box.
Had a Freeze Warning GA! Temps in the teens. Used it correctly. Pipe still burst. Luckily, I was home working and heard gushing water before everything flooded. Buy a "Freeze Miser" or drain/drip your outdoor faucet(What I should've done!). Save yourself a plumbing bill! Pic from today 1/17/24.
