I ship packages as part of my work. This is my go-to tape for that purpose. It's thick (3.1 mil, which is twice as thick as most standard tape). Sticks very well and doesn't tear and split on the roll nearly as much as thinner tapes. It's not cheap, but you'll use less of it to get the job done.
Excellent price for bulk packing tape. I complete many eBay transactions as well as several other packing tasks every month, and I am always in need of tape. For a low price, this bulk pack of packing tape was my top choice. It adheres well to boxes, and it tears easily on tape rollers. That being said, it is a very strong tape so it doesn't just break under the slightest amount of stress. Highly recommended product, and definitely will buy again.
Can't go wrong with the Duck tape brands I have a couple of different kinds of tapes of Duck Brand and the dispensers make it great on each roll of packing tape
This heavy duty tape is great to use for packaging shipping packages; it doesn't fly around when a longer length is needed, it adheres easily, and is heavy enough I have no worriies of it breaking in transit. I just wish the local store carried this brand in a multi-pack instead of another brand name. Thank goodness for WalMart's ShiptoStore procedure.
I send very heavy boxes to my family in the caribbean and I need a tape that works well, and this is it. I have experienced other tapes and they feel so flimsy and you have to use so much tape to feel secure that the boxes will arrive in good shape. The first time I used this I was hooked. It is by far the thickest tape I have found at 3.2mm and the strongest. You use 1/4 the tape as compared to other brands but feel twice as secure that everything will arrive in great condition and that the tape will hold up. My walmart store stopped stocking it but I get it sent from site to store for free and it arrives usually within the week. Very happy with this product.
This tape is thick and is great for shipping. I shipped a few heavy items without worry (10-20 pounds) and they got to their destination without a problem. I did not have to over tape like I normally do with other name brand tapes. This one fit the bill quite nicely. Would highly recommend!
This tape is strong, and it is sticky. But not crazy sticky that causes problems. It will seal your boxes, leaving no doubt that your shipment will stay closed. Some reviewers are complaining about the tape splitting. They are probably not using a tape dispenser. Some reviewers are complaining that the tape gets stuck to itself on the roll. Well, of course it will. It is designed to stick. So either use a tape dispenser, or fold over the end when you are done using it. Some tapes smell. This one does not smell (unless you put it up to your nose). The tape does everything right, and the price is competitive.
I really like this high-quality tape and the re-usable (with right roll size) dispensers. Tape is strong and very seldom mis-peels (splits on the roll where one has to locate/peel/restart a broken end). The price is affordable and competitive and there are many possible uses for this good tape. I hope that Sam's will not discontinue this.
I use this tape to ship packages as well as close boxes for storage. I've used many brands and this one is very strong. I try to buy this one each time if possible!
Used the tape for years, lately the adhesive has been weaker. But, overall its still my favorite packing tape for the price so far. Nice thick packing tape that is about right, not easy to tear and thin enough to cut easily in the dispenser. The smell and the stickiness has changed recently. I have noticed it does not stick as well on cold cardboard boxes. I hope the strong adhesive returns. I uses about 16 rolls a month and my last few rolls have been crystal clear, but not as sticky as I like. Its not enough change to stop buying it yet, but I will be switching if the adhesive stays weak like it is now. At $17.00 for an eight pack its a good alternative to the much more costly Scotch HD tape I also use.
