It works great on damp cotton material. I tried dyeing a polyester blend sports bra & failed. This was so much fun we kept finding more shirts, sports bras, socks, washcloths and even a bed sheet to tie dye! I couldn't stop dyeing things.
For a first time tie-dyer this was the perfect product! Everything that is needed is inside including detailed instructions.
The directions for how to use the product, do not result in a tie dye shirt. All the colors run together and become blotchy.
