I purchased this as a starter set for my 8 year old son. There are many junior sets for sale, a lot of them over $200. Kids continue to grow, so this set was perfect. Quality is excellent, price excellent, performance excellent. My son loves this set. I researched this for a couple of months and almost purchased this set at another source, for about $25 more. Fortunately I found Wal-Mart also carried this product.
I would recommend this for any young golfer uner 12. This set is wonderful for learning the game and having fun.
For my 8 and 9 year old boys, these clubs are perfect and the price is the best for a "full" set of kids clubs including a stand bag. Most kids this age are not cranking the ball 150 yards, so any set that looks cool and is solidly built will work, and the price is great too. The local pro shops want $25-60 per club for kids clubs that are no better quality than these.
The only thing that could have made it better is if it included a pitching wedge. We had to go and buy one that didn't match the set. Other than that - no complaints!
My grandson was delighted with this set. He just turned 8 but this is the perfect set for his hight. The clubs fit his need for his age and are of very good quality.
The clubs are an excellent brand and quality, my only problem is I will have to send them back and try to re-order clubs for right handed boy. I am not sure if that was even a question when I ordered them. Otherwise shopping on line from site to store was great..
I purchased a set of Loco Golf clubs for my grandson and was very happy with the quality of the golf clubs and the golf bag w/stand. I am an avid golfer and my grandson also loves the game. The clubs I purchased fit him very well and he should get a year or tow out of them until he is in regular clubs. I have seen clubs for double and triple what I spent and they are not any better quality than these clubs and for a youngster it makes a lot of sense to purchase these clubs as in a couple years they grow into the full size clubs. This purchase made one little boy very happy, Thank You!
I was very happy with the golf clubs. The only thing I didn't like was, my grandson belongs to the "First Tee" program in Arkansas. I saw this set in a Wal-Mart and it had "The First Tee" head covers. This set did not. I was a little dissapointed. Both sets were Dunlop.
My 9 year old son wanted to start playing golf with me, and he is left handed. Its very hard to find a lefty set in stores, and I didn't want to spend to much $$$. I must say the bag is very nice and has a stand. It also has a very nice carry strap that is padded. The quality of the clubs is quite nice, and he can can really drive the ball with all of them. He actually hit one of the drivers around 100 yards the other day, so he is really enjoying the set. Its a very nice starter set with a good quality feel to the clubs. I am very pleased thus far.
