I have used Brita and Pur faucet water filters and this DuPont is the best! The water taste so much better, you will be amazed. Plus 200 gallons of filtered water. Pur and Brita is only 100 gallons. Last longer and the price for the replacement filters are even cheaper. Try it because you will love it also!! Rate: A+. Way to go DuPont!!
We have been using DuPont filters for over 10 years and really taste a difference in our tap water with it. The unit we are replacing lasted about 6 years but finally gave out - it didn't matter if it was off or on, water ran out of the filtered and unfiltered sides at the same time. Apparently something inside wore out. Not surprising considering the amount of use. The only negative to this filter is that it is hard to find and it is hard to find the 200 gallon cartridges. Thank goodness for the internet.
Great product with good tasting filtered water. First filter by DuPont and it's excellent. Have used Pur filters before and those has problems with leaks. Would definetely recommend.
I purchased this because of water quality concerns. The first one arrived damaged but Walmart made a full refund and I ordered the second one which arrived undamaged. Installation was simple and took 5 minutes which included reading the instruction manual. I immediately noticed a difference in the tap water and have been drinking more after installing the filter.
I love the filter, I think it's the best quality of al faucet mounted filters, the only thing I don't like is that the mount isn't flexible enough as far as range of motion. I forgot to bring the one I had in my prior home so purchased new after searching the web to find where I could buy it. I have used this product a total of about 5 years, and I recommend it highly
This DuPont Deluxe Faucet filter works great. I like the digital display feature that tells you how many gallons you have used. My kids asked (without knowing I installed a faucet filter: "What kind of water is this? It tastes better somehow!" I agree. The water tastes fresher. It was super-easy to install. Took less than 10 minutes to attach to the faucet. Great product.
Well worth the purchase. Does the job I need it to do. I don't drink the water, just cook with it. The filter is bulky and takes up more room for my liking. However it will do for now. I most likely won't purchase it again, due to how much space it takes up.
This unit was a breeze to install and works very well. On the down side: The housing is faux-chrome plastic, and the unit is large and a little cumbersome to work around when washing dishes, etc. All in all, it does what I purchased it to do - filter water. I would recommend it to anyone who, like me, doesn't want to spend a ton of money on bottled water or an unsanitary jug unit. This unit will do just what the water bottling companies do, filter tap water for you. Takes out the iron and lime that is so prominent in our local water. It comes with one 200 gal. filter and I ordered two extra filters to save on shipping when ordering them later. Unless you filter water for livestock {Lol}, 200 gals per filter is a lot of crisp, clean, cold, filtered water.
This is the second filter I have purchase. the fiorst one worked great until I changed the original filter. then the light stopped working , next to go was the counter. SO I thought I would I would buy another. Well this one does not light up and is already at 419 gallons filtered - NOT! Time to look at another product.
Hi...I opened the box, read all the instructions ....installed and the LCD light will not function. i am very disappointed. Now , i have to spend more money and return the product. what ever happen to quality workmanship....
