I got this smoker as a gift and am thrilled! Set up on the DGU951SDE-D was straightforward and the directions were easy to follow. I got started quickly and it found ample room to fit all my food. Everything I cooked came out well, especially for a first time smoker user. I started with ribs, chicken, pork and even corn on the cob. Highly recommend and would purchase another.
Easy controls, easy to season and start cooking with various meats.
Bought this smoker so I could remote smoke meats. I am reading 30 foot bluetooth range. It is 18 feet and one wall from my smoker to my family room, and the signal can not be reached at that distance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I ended up with three of these on returns. Don't waste your time. The heating element doesn't even get the wood to smoke. SMG (DyanGlo) tells you to "bend" the heating element up so it touches the wood pan......really! Now I have bent it up and it is loose and just falls again. Piece of crap, stay away.
