I purchased this smoker for husband as a Christmas gift last year...It took him several months before he decided to use it...I must say he loves it...He barely use his grill any more. This was a great buy. The price was reasonable and he had no problems.
I wanted a small, inexpensive smoker and I settled on this one after much looking and researching. It seemed to have the most features and quality design of the small smokers and now that I have it I am not disappointed. The features are all there and the quality of materials is better than expected.
Very nice smoker, decent price and very light weight, can improve access to burn chamber, and more levels.
I am very impressed by the features of this smoker. The adjustable vents really allow you to maintain the temperature you want. The charcoal grid is much better than just a plain pan. I cooked baby back ribs with it today and they were great.
Although I haven't used the smoker yet, I found it easy to put together. The quality seems to be extremely good. Well built.
For the size of the smoker and the price I am very happy with it. I had another one like it from another company and it doesn't seal as tight as the Dyna-Glo. I can control the heat a lot better. Also it lifts apart to make it easier to add coals.
Works well. Had used it to smoke chicken, pork and fish. So far the paint holds. So afr have difficulty controlling the temperature below 300 degF even when all the adjustable vents are closed. I just reduce the amount of charcoal I put to keep the temperature from going over 300F. Iâm a beginner in smoking but so far my family loved the meat and fish I cooked on this smoker!
We used the smoker couple times and the paint all bubbled and peeled off, it does it's job well, but now it looks awful
We followed all directions to a t and the smoker started melting on the sides upon first use. Cheaply made. Do not buy
