After using the dyson air purifier for about a month I'm very happy with it. It looks good in any room and the magnetic controller holder is intuitive and convenient. Have yet to needed the heating function but in the few cases were I turned it on I do not doubt it will warm any room quickly. My only complaint is it does not work with the dyson app.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the short time that I have had this unit, I can say that I have been impressed. One thing to note is that this particular model does not connect to the Dyson app so everything is controlled through the remote. If App functionality is not important, this is the model for you because you get all of the core features that make the Hot+Cool purifiers great but at a reduced price. I have had this purifier in my bedroom now for a week running in either auto mode or night mode and I have definitely been able to tell a difference in the air quality of the space. There is less dust and it just smells fresher (probably due to the carbon filter). I have an older model of the cool-only purifier in our basement and I feel like these newer models also have better airflow. The remote inputs are intuitive and everything is clear and concise on the display of the unit. When switching to heat mode, it comes on almost instantaneously and you don't get the burnt smell that you can have with other heaters. Setting the temperature you want is a breeze and it will automatically turn off once it reaches the set temp. If you are looking for a constant fan you can switch the unit over to cool mode and set it to your desired speed. The purifier is also quieter than most others I have used so it is perfect for sleeping spaces.
We bought this unit to both heat and cool a newly finished sun porch off the back of our house. It's August now in Northern Alabama with high temps around 90. We open the french doors to our house and let the cool mode of the unit spread the cool air in the room. It is fantastic. The room now is around 79-80 degrees and very comfortable. When winter hits, we will be able to heat the room. So... we have a 4 season sun porch where we live much of the day.
Impulsively bought one after I was playing around with a friend's HP01. Haven't looked back since. I haven't woken up with a sore throat since I picked one up. Insanely fast at filtering and heating a room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this purifier. It has helped alot with the air quality in our bedroom. We had a german shepherd and a 1 year old. I have noticed a huge difference in sleeping with this machine on. I no longer wake up with that terrible sore throat in the morning and it just feels great to have it running.
I've been using it daily for about a month now. Not only does everything work, but it works well. Very impressed with the fit and finish, quietness, airflow. And here in Northern California I normally swap out my cooling fan in late Fall for a portable heater. Now all I have to do is press a different button on the remote.

This elegant product saves so much space by replacing fan + heat dish + air purifier. And we are truly impressed with the functionalities and the ease of use. It provides purified air and does great job keeping space at the temperature we want. My baby has been doing extremely well without any heat rash. And it's quiet operation helps all of us sleep better in a comfortably cool room. Also, since using the product my wife stopped suffering from allergies that always bothered her sleeping at night. The part I love the most about this product is the baby bath time. This is the time when baby needs to be kept warm, and this product will provide very powerful stream of hot air in about 10 seconds (and just few minutes if you want to warm up the whole room). This helps us to finish the job without being rushed to dry her, or causing baby to burst into tears. Overall, extremely happy with the differences this product made to our home!
I've had it for about two months. I'm disappointed with the quality. The more time on it, the less cool it feels. Further, the fan noise also increases with use.
Received the Dyson and remote not working, second remote was sent and still did not work. Sent to Dyson to replace whole unit.
It honestly seem like this air filter barely even works. I was expecting way more airflow out of an "air multiplier". It barely feels like a light breeze even on level 10. I'm not sure if this is the intended function of the machine or if mine just doesn't work that well. Either way, I am certainly not impressed with the performance of this expensive machine.
