Just purchased within the last week and placed it dead smack in the center of my living room/kitchen/multi-purpose room. My son that has a bit of a dust mite issue noted after a few hours that it felt better breathing in the home. He has another brand purifier that he sleeps with in his room, but since we added this, I think the majority of the home is covered. He normally does a nasal rinse 2 or 3 times a day. Since we got this, I think he did it once.
I have been using this fan formamfew weeks now and I really like it. The fan is strong enough to really get the air moving and the nighttime settings are a great feature. What I reall like most, however, is the app interface. At any time of the day I can check the air quality, humidity and temperature in the room where my fan is. I have the fan in our bedroom and I set up a daily schedule that works on automatic during the day and comes on automatically at bedtime. That makes for a cool breeze of fresh air when I need it most. Having it set up on a schedule is especially nice because I don't have to think about it unless I am interested in seeing what is going on. The app also has a feature that lets you see what has been going on over days and weeks of time. I can look for patterns that affect my air quality. For example, we live in an rv and I noticed that when I use a lot of water like when taking a shower, the air quality gets worse. Because the fan noticed this, and the app recorded it over time, I can now take steps to prevent future dips in my air quality. That means I can improve my air quality by other means and save the filter time thus reducing my filter replacement costs over time. One thing that I don't think the descriptions do a good job of is telling you that in addition to oscillating the fan also tilts up and down. You can tilt it even when it is oscillating. The size of the fan is nice. At about two feet tall it is easily placed in your home. It also has a small footprint. Ours is placed on a night stand. Although the fan is expensive it really does a lot more than your typical fan. If you are really concerned about the quality of your air I would say that I feel it is well worth the money.
I was looking for a heater and decided to go with the Dyson, and I do not regret that choice. It quickly heated the room and with the purifier the air seemed almost as if it was lighter and fresh. And after a week of use it still doesn't smell like burning dust! Other heaters I have used after just a couple hours they get that horrible smell. I love this heater and recommend it, not only for the heater but also the fact you get to use it all year and to clean the air year round.
Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link is a must-have! Has a remote with ALL the settings and an air filter with life of over 4200 hours. I have peace of mind knowing so many dust particles are no longer blowing towards me, unlike my old oscillating fan (which is now in the trash!) The cool airflow FEELS cooler than my old fan! The heat setting, with adjustable temperature, will heat an entire room easily! This unit has MANY adjustable settings: tilt/oscillation, focused/diffused air modes, air/thermostat control, sleep/night modes, ETC! With the Dyson Link APP (connects to wi-fi) on my smartphone, I can view air quality, temp, and humidity in my location, create a weekly schedule, and MUCH, much more! Cleaning the unit is a BREEZE (no pun intended!) Cleaning used to take me 30 minutes with my old fan, now it takes 10 seconds with the Dyson Hot + Cool! I can honestly say, I have slept better with the cooler airflow from this unit than any other fan I have ever used! We plan on getting another Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link in the very near future! As usual, GOOD JOB, Dyson!!
Had for an entire month and honestly i need to buy another one for the bedroom. Having a fan that can do all three and with all the technology abilities it can do i get why it's costly. Well worth it.
This unit is a most attractive addition to a room. The incredible thing is that without moving parts this unit moves air very effectively and offers the additional feature of warming the air as well as cleaning the air. One cannot appreciate the effectiveness and safety of this unit till you have had a child pit his fingers or hand into a rotating fan unit that had a guard in place. The other feature is that for dogs with long tails this unit is completely safe when placed on the floor. Two huge plusses. The unit is also easy to clean and simple to replace filter and just seems to work effectively on demand without any fuss.

Great product which allowed me to get rid of my separate heater and use only one system. Plus there is the added benefit of the air purifier. My husband and I both have allergies and this system is great for reducing allergens, odors, etc. Easy to use app allows you to control the device remotely and check on the quality of the air. I highly recommend this product.
The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link combines an Air Purifier with a Heater/Air Conditioner for a single room! It's a great idea, and the product is very effective in both purifying the air and either cooling or heating the room. Its great to have one product that does both!
