These are fantastic at keeping out noise! Sometime, I can hear my heartbeat in my ears. VERY COMFORTABLE.
good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
These earplugs are much firmer than the ones I have purchased in the past. I would not buy these for myself because they are also larger than previous ones.
I have used E-A-R ear plugs for over 20 years and had great results. I purchased a box of the original taper fit several years ago and they worked fine. I was getting low, so I ordered this box of 200 pairs, expecting the same ear plug. When they came, the new "Taper Fit 2" are smaller in diameter than the originals. In the picture, the original is on the left the new size is on the right. They do not fit my ear canals.
One of my favorite ear plugs to use. However, the last two boxes I have personally used have identified a production failure in the adhesive between the plug and the cord. It seems that all but a few packs have had an issue with one of the two plugs simply having the cord pull out of the plug due to lack of adhesive or not enough. This is troublesome to find out after proper inserting plugs and having to use some sort of tool, tweezers, to extract.
