My expensive tennis shoes had a piece of tread come loose, but other than that they were fine. I used this adhesive, rubber banded the piece for the night, and you can't even tell it ever broke. Cheap and easy fix to an annoying problem; I plan to use it next on the sole of another pair of shoes. The only thing that might be a drawback was a warning on the label about something in the product being labeled as a carcinogen in California. Since it won't come in contact with skin, and if you're careful when you apply it, I don't think this is a big deal.
